Maybe happiness
is much smaller
than I thought.
もしかしたら幸せって、
思っていたより
ずっと小さいものなのかもしれない。

Eating falafel
on a rooftop terrace
surrounded by green,
looking out over Harajuku
and Tokyo Tower
during my work break.
仕事の休憩に、
緑に囲まれた屋上のテラスで
原宿の街と東京タワーを眺めながら、
ファラフェルを食べる。

Cycling as fast as I can
along the river
through a city I’ve never been to,
tried to catch my friends football game but I couldn’t
友達のフットボールの試合を観に、
知らない街の川沿いを
必死に自転車で漕いだけど間に合わなかった。

Going to a sento
after work.
仕事終わりに
銭湯に行ったり。

Having highballs
and eating tantan maze soba
with my friend.
友達とハイボールを飲んで、
担々まぜそばを食べたり。

Somehow,
doing these silly little things
that feel like something
the boys would do
makes me so happy.
なんだか、
男の子たちがするような
くだらなくて楽しいことが、
今の私にはすごく楽しい。

Maybe this is
what 青春 feels like for me.
これが、私にとって
「青春」なのかもしれない。

Seeing more familiar faces
at the shops I always go to.
いつものお店で
顔見知りが増えていくこと。

These little connections
scattered throughout my everyday life
somehow make
this huge city of Tokyo
feel a little warmer.
そんな、日常に散らばった小さな繋がりが、
不思議なくらい大きなTokyoを
少しだけ温かくしてくれる。

Maybe what I loved
about Manila
was never really the city itself.
きっとManilaで好きだったのも、
街そのものじゃなくて、

Maybe it was
that feeling of being connected
to the people around me.
人と繋がっている
あの感覚だったんだと思う。

And now,
I’m slowly realizing
that I can create
that feeling here, too.
そして今、
その感覚は
ここでも自分で作れるんだと
少しずつ気づいてきた。

Maybe home
isn’t something we find.
もしかしたら居場所って、
見つけるものじゃなくて、

Maybe it’s something
we create ourselves
少しずつ
自分で作っていくものなのかもしれない。

Through one conversation,
one laugh,
one ordinary day
at a time.
一つの会話、
一つの笑い、
一つの何気ない一日を
重ねながら。

Lately,
Tokyo feels good.
最近、Tokyoが心地いい。

I’m living.
I’m creating.
I’m making memories.
ちゃんと生きていて、
何かを作って、
思い出を増やしている。

Nothing extraordinary
is happening.
大きな何かが
あるわけじゃない。

I’m just living
my own life.
ただ、自分の人生を生きている。

And somehow,
それだけなのに、

I feel like
I’m finally here.
なんだか今、
ちゃんとここにいる気がする。

My Tokyo.
My little connections.
My favorite 21.

I pretty much only shop vintage but this place got me like… “I want this, and this, and THAT too!

Everything is affordable, so cute, and honestly such good quality！
