Chicago Pottery Market 12/12 & 12/13
POSTS STORIES REELS
Finished mini vases are so satisfying to put all together and look at and grab and swirl around. These will be available at upcoming holiday sales including the @chicagopotterymarket holiday market. If you want custom (or even just something specific) work in time for the holidays then NOW is the time to tell me!! #handmadeceramics #angelofmydreams #minivases #localhandmade #chicagopottery by @ceramicaperi
People always ask how I make my mini vases! Here is a light behind the scenes of my tiny hand-built composite baby vessels! As always the number one function is simply decoration and the enjoyment of owning a tiny, cute object. Additionally, they’re good for burning a stick of incense, holding a single flower bud, and holding shed cat whiskers! What would you use them for? #potterymakingvideos #wlwart #minivase #potteryprocess by @ceramicaperi
Smooth the grooves on a mini vase with me. I’m using Paseo high fire clay from a flight box of @mammothclay handbuilding clay. Using new clay bodies is a fun excuse to make test pieces. This vase is bigger than my standard mini vase, but it’s just for testing the clay so I don’t mind whether or not it fits in. These mini vases are usually used to burn incense sticks, hold cat whiskers, or as a single stem bud vase. #handmadeceramics #minivase #potteryprocess #handbuiltpottery #wlwart by @ceramicaperi
Wowwww. This weekend! Thank you so much to @wilder.house for hosting myself and so many of my best ceramicist friends. This was the show of my dreams. I have never experienced such a flow of customers who resonated with and understood my art and my pov. Getting to display and sell my work with so many artists and makers who I’ve worked alongside over the years (and drink inspiration and knowledge from) was so special. I ❤️ the potters, weavers, gay people, organizers, queers, freaks, STUDIO TECHS, lesbians, and patrons of the arts. by @ceramicaperi
Join us in Wicker Park tomorrow for The Chicago Pottery Market hosted by @wilder.house . So many of my peers and inspirations in the Chicago Pottery world will be displaying and selling their works. by @ceramicaperi

@renegadecraft thank you so much for having us this weekend! I have never done a market on this level and Renegade Craft has always been my personal dream for Ceramica Peri. It was a physical and emotional feat to make it happen. Very unlike anything I’ve ever done, but I’m excited to do it again asap. Thank you to my friends and family who held it down for me and helped me out throughout the weekend— I love you guys so much. Thanks to @theselfloveprint.club for being the best booth mate! ❤️ Next in person market is going to be the @wilder.house Chicago Pottery Market September 12th and 13th 2026 in Wicker Park! by @ceramicaperi
@renegadecraft Chicago is just days away!! Come find me at booth 165. I’ll be on the southeast side of the market north of the intersection of Kedzie and Palmer (facing east.) I’m excited to debut so many items that are freshly fired and never before seen on social media. If you’ve been looking for a place to shop local makers, curious about what new things I’ve been making, or tempted to buy a Ceramica Peri piece for yourself… this weekend is the time and Logan Square is the place. #chicago #renegadecraftfair #pottery #ceramics #smallartbusiness by @ceramicaperi
My organ vessel is done! I had so much fun coiling this big beast of a pot. I had a bad cold about a month ago and recovered from it on my porch while I pinched and coiled this into existence. I was inspired by tendons, heart strings, lungs, organs in general, and David Cronenberg’s the Brood and Videodrome. I also took inspiration from other exploitation/ grindhouse horror special effects like in Basket Case, Society, and films following that tradition like the substance. @laaaurenholmes captured me hand building at the studio :) Like many of my pieces (both thrown and hand built) this one ended up being purposely crushed and dried out to recycle l into wet clay again. Pottery is kind of a freak show, but I love it so bad. #chicago #pottery #ceramics by @ceramicaperi
