Who doesn't love a goat? I made some handsome goat boys to join the menagerie including at @ashcoffeeatl with Robert @yaystudioatl and Julia @jayburnz . It's all too much for Frida. by @ceramicfreund

The lowly foot 🦶. This was a cool anatomy project that I wanted to give up on when it looked like a clog shoe. "Trust the process" as @m.klapthor.robots beats into us every class. Lol. More pics to come if it survives bisque. taken in Callanwolde Pottery and Ceramics by @ceramicfreund

❤️🐍🐈🐐🐢🍯🐟❤️ my creatures, a honey pot with dipper, a 2 sided vase from the last soda firing 🔥 I used all sorts of glazes and flashing slips. It was fun to experiment and I'm pretty pleased with how everything turned out. I learned what I'd like to try again.. Thanks for your guidance @kathryne_katworks !! Great class 👏 👏 👏 taken in Callanwolde Pottery and Ceramics by @ceramicfreund

Raku night!!!! I used green luster which gets a nice crackle if you smoke it in its own nest. My main goal was to get the snake all deep black and I was able to make that happen. Yay!!! ❤️ 🐍 ❤️ taken in Callanwolde Pottery and Ceramics by @ceramicfreund

A beautiful soda firing! My class was in the front stack. The yellow and blue mug is butter slip with sky blue engobe outside and opal blue inside, fish scale mugs have alkaline spots outside over a flashing slip and floating blue and spearmint inside. The bluebird bell has sky blue engobe and a flashing slip. The other bird is Lizella clay with bringle flashing slip. The elephant is a white clay body with bringle slip. The spoon has opal blue. The cat with a ball (my favorite) is bringle over another flashing slip and the other cat is just marbled Lizella and porcelain. It's been great being back in soda class and getting to use this kiln!!! 👏 taken in Callanwolde Pottery and Ceramics by @ceramicfreund

Back at it for Winter quarter! An elephant 🐘 for @marykasal 's daughter, a cat 🐈 just because (one doesn't need a reason), and a mug because it was the class project. Let's see if they all survive... by @ceramicfreund

Here's to a fantastic 2026, everyone!! 🌟❤️🌟

We started it out with a charcuterie🧀🫓 party among wonderful friends - Rena, @nagemnosnorb @ryanjzahn @gaveroo then a cabin adventure with Christopher involving fire🔥, grilled meats🍔🌭, marshmallows, and wild hogs🐖 inviting themselves to our cabin at @mistletoe_state_park 🌳

I hope you all make the best of this fresh start and your year is full of love, joy, prosperity, and fun!! taken in Mistletoe State Park by @ceramicfreund
