My replication piece of tang dynasty sancai for my history class. What a wonderful and challenging assignment. I used a Frit 3134, copper, manganese and iron for the drips. Wish I had lead 💔

“Angels Trumpet Teapot,” 2026
20 x 8 x 8

This one was very fun to make. I put it all together an early 6am morning with jazz playing in my lit up studio while the rest of the rooms were dark. I know what the colors would be shortly after I made it, and this piece was born out of a very productive and thoughtful process. I dried it fast as heck five days before the show, I felt so bad for her. I signed too! Sometimes I forget by @ceramicrat
