Did Wizkid’s “Don’t Dull” change the songwriting game in Nigerian music? @jinmiabduls thinks it did and he breaks down exactly how that era influenced the way a generation of Nigerian artistes approached songwriting, melodies and making records.

My First International Hosting Gig!! I was psycheddd! I had the privilege of moderating a very important conversation at the MTN Group HQ in South Africa for the MIP Program @mtn_mip

Titled “Africa’s Stories, Africa’s Power: Media, Narrative and the New Diplomacy,” the session brought together an incredible mix of diplomatic, media, multilateral and corporate voices:

Amb. Ninikanwa Okey-Uche — Consul General of Nigeria in South Africa

Amb. Nyameko Goso — Chief Director: West Africa, DIRCO

Mr Nelson Muffuh — United Nations Resident Coordinator in South Africa

Mr Sbu Ngalwa — Secretary-General, The African Editors Forum & Treasurer-General, South African National Editors’ Forum (SANEF)

Ms Phathiswa Magopeni — Executive Director, Press Council of South Africa

We explored the power of media and narrative in shaping how Africans see one another, strengthening people to people relations, and ultimately advancing African integration.

It was an absolute privilege moderating this and I’m so grateful to God for the privilege of placing me at the center of a room like this! Glory to Jesus FR ❤️

Thank you, @mtnng @mtn_group_ @mtn_mip for the opportunity ❤️ by @cerathecera
