✨ Just taking a moment to brag on my amazing colleague (and work daughter) Iyanna W. 🧡💙🐻

A front-page feature and proud Morgan State University Summa Cum Laude graduate in Sociology, Iyanna now serves as a Resources & Opportunities Manager—a role that fits her perfectly because she’s truly an altruist at heart. 🌟

When she’s not out being a real-life superhero for the community, she’s pouring her creativity into her art as the talent behind @wrightshade.creations 🎨💫.

Our special guests at ThreadHours today were the incredible students from the Morgan State University Political Science Association — and they truly brought the energy, insight, and passion for leadership into the room.

Honorable Mention: A huge thank you to Rapheala S. for helping bring this experience together. Your dedication and coordination made it possible for such meaningful connections and conversations to take place.
The discussions today were powerful, thoughtful, and inspiring. We are grateful for each student who took the time to serve, engage, and contribute their voices.

And to make the day even more special, we had the opportunity to meet and connect with former U.S. Surgeon General, Vivek H. Murthy. It was an unforgettable moment for our students to engage with a national leader whose work continues to impact communities across the country.

What a DAY!!! 🎉🍼💗

Our Community Baby Shower in the Greater Mondawmin Community was nothing short of AMAZING! The love, the support, the smiles, the unity — it was everything we hoped for and more.

This was truly a community effort, and we could not have done this without our INCREDIBLE volunteers who showed up, showed OUT, and served with heart. 💛

✨ Special shoutout to the For College Girls MSU Organization — thank you for showing up and showing love! Your presence meant so much and your support does not go unnoticed.

💙 Sigma Gamma Rho — the Poodles are going to show up EVERY time! Thank you for your consistency, your energy, and your commitment to service.

🧡 And MY MORGAN STATE STUDENTS — listen, there is NOTHING like my Bears! The leadership, the compassion, the willingness to serve… unmatched. We love you so much! 🐻

To every single person who lifted a box, sorted a bag, greeted a family, or simply poured into this experience — THANK YOU. Because of you, families in our community felt supported, celebrated, and seen.
