Aurora memories with my rebelle sisters and their crew.

It felt like ages since I last rode my bike (well, last April to be precise), but the winding roads welcomed me back with a tight embrace.

Pantabangan, Maria Aurora, Dipaculao, Casiguran, Dilasag, Baler, Bongabon... all part of the province of Aurora. From the mountains to the sea, from hills to plains, a different kind of scenery is showcased by each town in the east, but all are awe-inspiring all the same.

Storm? What storm? 😉⛈️

Braved the pouring rain in the metro and throughout Marilaque then got rewarded with dry and overcast skies on Polillo Island.

Looped through the south of Polillo and took on every terrain—pavement, sand, rocks, and dirt—with a side of island hopping just to keep things spicy.

Definitely worth the ride! 🔥

Runnin’.

We left before the storm could find us.

While the Metro prepared for what might come, we found ourselves on Polillo, Quezon. It is far from the noise, close to the sea, and surrounded by the kind of people who make every trip worth remembering.

The island was peaceful. We weren’t. But maybe that’s what made it perfect.

To the beautifully chaotic people of ScramsOnFire, thanks for another trip I’ll be thinking about long after we got home.

Woke up early and took a two-hour solo ride in the dark meandering roads of Aurora just to chase the sun before it rises.

Seeing the sky turn purple and the sun peeking through the horizon was all worth the ride!
