A little over 7 years ago, the universe paved the way for me to move to my dream city, with what was at the time, my dream job. ✨ Moving to NYC 🗽was a lifelong dream come true for me for so many reasons, but ultimately I knew it would expand my professional network & provide me with experiences that would ultimately lead me to my next career move.Today I’m excited to announce my next chapter as an entrepreneur! 😬 It feels surreal to even type this, but I turned my side hustle, into a full-time hustle (more on that later)! When I say the universe pulls you in the direction that you need to go, I mean GTFOTW -bc the universe moves & it moves fast! ⚡️Divine timing. ⏰ I’ve learned to TRUST IN IT SO MUCH (even when I don’t understand it).✨After 10 years as in-house publicist for @palaceresorts & @leblancresorts , today was my last day as vice president of public relations. This place has been a family for me since day one- a hit the ground running educational, crisis mode, celebrity spotting, reality show making, key message drafting, budgeting playground & I’ve had the most INCREDIBLE & FUN experiences one could EVER ask for in a job, literally EVER. I took part in launching our first resort outside of Mexico (carrying 8 massive ribbon-cutting scissors in my carry-on) & shaking hands with the prime minister in Jamaica. I helped inaugurate the massive Moon Palace Arena, the largest convention center in Cancun. I watched Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos build from the ground up- inaugurating it with the dreamiest president Mexico has ever had, @epn ❤️. I helped @neneleakes have the most over-the-top bachelorette with the #RHOA & have been there to witness @teresagiudice in action while we filmed multiple seasons & episodes of #RHONJ. I got to spend time w/@Usher as I moderated a roundtable discussion with press at Moon Palace Cancun & shook my bon-bon w/ @ricky_martin-I’ve interviewed & cooked w/two #michelinstarchef bringing their experiences to our resorts in the name of charity. And I met legendary French oceanographer, #jeanmichelecousteau while filming oceanic documentary in #CozumelMy tolerance for spicy 🌶 tacos 🌮 is unmatched and the levels of boujie tequila 🥃and mezcal I’ve been able to consume is beyond impressive and a pricy habit I will carry with me forever. 🤣And even when you put all of that aside (and trust me there’s SO MUCH MORE), the best part of my experience has been the people I’ve met along the way, the relationships I’ve built, and the friendships I’ve made.🌎💖✈️I will forever be eternally grateful for this beautiful experience, but baby, it’s time to go- it’s time to grow. 🚀#thankyouforcomingtomytedtalk #palaceresorts #leblancsparesort by @cessiec

Allow me to reintroduce ourselves: The Cabrera’s. ❤️ 8.30.19. Yesterday on the last new moon 🌔of August, I married my best friend in a room full of the people that mean the most to us. It was an overwhelmingly emotional day and one that I will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you to all that made the effort both near and far to celebrate this magical day with us! Lately I’m the queen of delayed posts, but here’s a little recap of our quick weekend away in the name of LOVE 🫶🏼 celebrating our friends @james_leon and @nikki_hitt 💍 I love LOVE 🫶🏼 I love pink- and I never need an excuse to dress up! Photo Booth? Say less. And how cute was our table seating card? It was a vintage photo postcard of Cuba. 🇨🇺 Came to celebrate love, stayed for the cutesy small town of New Hope. Started the day in two states-standing where George Washington crossed the Delaware River on Christmas night in 1776 in a surprise attack on Trenton, one of the turning points of the Revolutionary War. Very nerdy and cool American history. Ice cream scoops, adorable bookstores, the cutest vintage stores, and a ladybug landed on my hand, so I’m choosing to believe that’s good luck for the year ahead. 🐞👗: @houseofcb 💄: @christinamartinosartistry 💇🏼‍♀️: Hair by me thank you very much! June 28. ♋️🦀 Happy Birthday to me. 💖 In true Cancer fashion, I exercised ALL of the characteristics and emotions we are known for for, during a two hour car ride driving back to NYC from a weekend away. Cancers LOVE hard, are highly protective, nurturing, loyal, have a lot pf empathy and we feel all of those feelings DEEPLY. And yes we cry. A lot: I cried while reading a beautiful birthday card. I cried when I came across an old photo that instantly took me back to another place in time (thanka @amarapalma1 the throwback). I cried bc I missed my abuelos calling and wishing me happy birthday and I wish they were still alive, so I replayed an old voicemail from abuela wishing me a happy birthday which made me cry some more. 🥹🥹I cried because time is passing way too fast, because it’s so fleeting, and I don’t know how to slow it down. I cried bc knowing I can’t slow down time, I’m overcome with anxiety sometimes (ok really allllll the time) and overthink my decisions, question my path, BUT confidently readjusting as I go.I cried bc I know the little girl in me who always got told in school that she was a pleasure to have in class, but talked too much, is in deed talking too much and making a business out of it in her dream city.I cried happy tears knowing and walking confidently with pure love in my heart and blind faith, that God will always lead me to my highest path.Thank you GOD for this life, for the quality people in it and for the lessons. GO hug 🫂a cancer, we probably need it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ps. What a time to be alive! Last night the @nyknicks made history and became @nba champions after a 53 year drought!!!! The energy of the city never fails me! The España journey continues 🍷🇪🇸 #cessietravels How cute is my papi? I’m obsessed with him. He’s the equivalent of #DannyTanner and the Cuban Mr. Rogers (iykyk).Zaragoza’s “El Tubo” nightlife was soooo fun! @bodegasalmau was THE spot - the cutest vintage wine bodega with hundreds of wines from the region. Surprisingly had some of the best pizza 🍕 I wasn’t expecting to have some of the best Cuban food of my life outside of Miami, but @cubalindarestaurante was just that! We met the owners-Cuban exiles that ended up in Spain (like so many) and of course there was talk of a free Cuba 🇨🇺- as the Cubans like to say- #yavienellegando - We also made a local friend- Ramon- local who charmed us with his life story- including the fact that he hates planes and has never left Spain as a result which honestly made me so sad for him. What’s a life without seeing the world?🌎 Pero bueno to each his own. 🤷🏼‍♀️Made a pit stop in Monserrat - sibling photo✨Last 3 slides are of Girona- a town I was excited to visit but was unimpressed with. Costa Brava was actually muy feliz ✨💙 I looooved this little coastal town- Tossa de Mar 🌊 Clear blue water, castles, lighthouse, the cutest village shops, seaside views, the best croquetas and my fav is the last slide- where abuelo came to visit. 🦋Ps. I also picked up this niche perfume @carnerbarcelona in Barcelona and it smells like the sea 🌊! My new travel fixation is influenced by @kathleenlights which is buying a local niche perfume on the first day, and wear it every day to make a scent memory of the whole trip.
