Sometimes the hardest thing to accept is that you can invest years of your life, your energy, your loyalty, and your money into something and still walk away with nothing you hoped for.

But staying longer doesn’t always recover what you lost. Sometimes it only increases the cost.

You can’t get the time back. You may not get the money back. But you can stop investing in something that continues to drain you.

At some point, the question is no longer, “How much have I already invested?”

The question becomes, “How much more am I willing to lose?”

Even when the results are not immediate, keep showing up for yourself. Every step is shaping the person you are becoming, and your journey does not need to look like anyone else’s to be meaningful.

At the age if 16 I have my first son by the age 20 I gave birth to a set of twins 3 boys and 1 mother. I stayed focused and determined not to be another statistic in today’s society. I am proud to say each one of my sons has walked that stage with honors around their necks. I never gave up on them or myself I can stand tall and say I’m so very proud of these young men they are all hard working and of to promising futures!!!! If you really know my baby girl, you know she is truly amazing. She is my joy, she is my world. Nothing makes me more proud than being her mother, raising her to be all that she can be and achieve all that she can achieve and beyond. Today was such a joyous day for me as my baby girl walked that stage, completing first grade and entering into second grade. She stood proud and tall and received it all in front of the whole school. Daylee Moore, I'm so proud of you. You are everything I ever dreamed of and more today showed me just how hard you've worked, how hard you've been trying, and you've reached every goal and climbed every mountain you've tried to climb.
