Last day for seniors!! I am not ok but I will be. You guys made this year so wonderful for me between field trips, events and classroom antics, I'm super grateful I get to do this for a living.

The #francophone world is more than just #france🇫🇷 so for Le mois de la Francophonie, I wanted to shoutout some amazing places because the people from there have been some of the most genuine I've ever met. Being a #frenchteacher can be a lonely spot sometimes but its worth it. Vive la #diversitéculturelle et tous les peuples de #lalanguefrançaise !

Just out here embracing who I am and all my #intersectionality . The script is the same..."ohhh you're one of our #teachers " , what do you teach? And then comes the look, "ohhhhhhh #ouiouioui " or something like that follows.

Took awhile to figure out why that was such a shock but embracing it comes with a responsibility to my students to show them the world that isn't talked about as much, the people who look like them but with a different soundboard than us.

La #francophonie is a rich tapestry and its because of the people we get much more richness in this language than one may realize. So yea, #jesuisprof by @cest_jb

In all seriousness, we have sat through meeting after meeting, some have left, some have come back and its all for the kiddos. If you know a teacher, give them your best or thank them, they have listened and prepared and may still still feel stressed out but we WILL have an awesome year and those 3 or 4 that are impacted will AWLAYS make it worth it. Bon Courage à vous tous!
