This evening I was honored to attend the annual event held at the Owenego supporting the mission of the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) and Peace Love ACCESSibility (PLA), helping advance research for Friedreich's Ataxia while creating more accessible communities for people living with mobility disabilities. Alex Bode and Sam Caruso both addressed the attendees and their Mom Mary Caruso made a heartfelt speech in support of this worthy cause. It was a great well attended event and I was happy to be a part of it! by @cet40

Tonight I received the Democratic nomination to run for Probate Judge Representing Branford/North Branford. Thanks to Attorney Dan Adelman of Branford for his nomination and Attorney Steven Whalen of North Branford for seconding my nomination. A special shout out to Kevin Coughlin for his stewardship of the Branford DTC, Nancy Barbieri McCormack for Chairing the convention and John Hartwell for serving as convention clerk / secretary. Thanks to all of the delegates for coming out and supporting my candidacy. I very much appreciate your support and thanks for joining me at the EEL POT to celebrate . A special thank you to Maggie Bruno for being my outstanding campaign treasurer. Also, thanks to my brother Shawn for his work behind the scenes. I was cross-endorsed by the Republicans representing Branford and North Branford at their nominating convention as well and I thank them for their support. The role of Probate Judge is not political and the cross endorsement of me by both political parties in Branford/North Branford reinforces
that concept. Again, thank you. by @cet40

Today I attended the the Connecticut Probate Court Assembly at the State Supreme Court in Hartford after which I walked across the street to the State Capitol and met with Kevin Coughlin the Communications Director for the Senate Democrats who put me in touch with my friend and State Senator
Christine Cohen who graciously introduced me to her colleagues on the Senate floor and the presiding officer and President of the Senate Susan Bysiewicz.
After her introduction Senator Martin Looney shared some kind words. It was a terrific honor! Thanks to Senator Cohen, Senator Looney and Kevin Coughlin. taken in Connecticut State Capitol by @cet40
