CSUDH 2022-2026 🤘🏽🎓

Throughout these years, I have gone through many challenges, obstacles, and been put to the test if I will give up or not, but I didn't and I kept pushing! 🙏🏽

Had friends that came and went, lost a family member, bought and lost my first car 😂, but when a door closes, a new one opens! As I have met a lot of people who not only I can call friends, but family!

First gen Latino foster youth ✊🏽, #1 mascot in the nation 🐂, a proud brother of a Fraternity 🦁, and a future filmmaker on the way about to change the world 📽️🌎

🌟 Phiota Spotlight 🌟

Today we proudly recognize our brother Cesar “Guardianoro” Becerra 🦁 for his impact in film and storytelling.

Cesar recently showcased his short film “D.E.A.T.H. Group” at the Golden State Film Festival at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre 🎬✨ — a major accomplishment and platform for emerging filmmakers.

He is currently writing his next film, “The Forbidden Chapters,” in collaboration with Kids in the Spotlight, Inc., continuing his commitment to powerful storytelling and creative expression. 🤩

In addition, Cesar will be hosting a campus event with Toro Guardian Scholars on April 28th, where D.E.A.T.H. Group will be screened alongside other films. The event will be open to the campus community 🎥🎓.
