Meet Debbie, the sister of one of our incredible CFA volunteers!
After surgery and four long weeks in recovery away from home, Debbie missed her dog, Atticus, so much and worried he might have forgotten her.
Her family arranged a special reunion, and those fears completely vanished the moment Atticus walked into the room. Just look at those smiles! ❤️
This undeniable bond is what Debbie’s sister Diane works to protect every week at CFA by answering calls for medical help for local pets. Fast recovery to you, Debbie - so excited for you and Atticus to be reunited permanently. by @cfa_oly

Our partnership with @cfa_oly is a very special one, and a first for both Concern for Animals and The Hansel Foundation! CFA’s amazing program provides vet vouchers averaging between $200-400 for low-income families in their community, for non-routine and emergency medical, as well as a special vet voucher program for senior citizens and their pets. 🙌🏼

This year, we’re sponsoring their first fund specifically focused on vet vouchers for families of pit bull-type dogs 💙. Our whole mission is to give an extra boost to the dogs (and their people!) who are most in need of support, and this is an incredible way to do just that.

In May and June, our grant made vet care more affordable for 11 pittie families across western Washington. One of them is beautiful senior human + dog duo Janice and Lucy. In this note that we will treasure, Janice shares:

“I was able to get Lucy checked in at the vet clinic — without your help, she would not have been able to be looked at. She was diagnosed with arthritis… a shot and pain pills have helped her a lot. She also had all of her shots, an ear infection was cleared up, and she got her toenails clipped. She is a much happier dog today because of you.
To the staff of Concern for Animals — you’re appreciated more than you know! Thank you so much!”

🥰

We could not be more honored to support this amazing organization and the pet parents who rely on them. We love you, Janice, Lucy, and CFA! 🩵 by @cfa_oly

Hey neighbors/friends! Help! We're running dangerously low on dry cat food. If anyone has some extra they can spare (reminder: we take open bags) or could help us grab a bag, it would be a huge lifesaver.
We can accept drop-off at 1414 State Ave NE, Olympia, and we also take Amazon/Chewy delivery! Links in Bio! If sharing info's your thing, please share!

Thank you so much in advance! ❤️ by @cfa_oly
