☀️ A little Sunshine happening behind the scenes! 🐾 From first-week treats to celebrating our amazing custodians on Custodians Day, kicking off our Walking Club, and adding a little fun to the staff rooms with our new Question of the Day, we’ve been finding small ways to bring some extra smiles, connection, and positivity to our Barnum community! Sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference! 💙🤍 #BarnumSunshine #BarnumBulldogs #SchoolCulture #StaffSunshine by @cfborger
Just me and my best boy 🐾 🩵 Sunday plans: whatever Domino says. by @cfborger
Use this prompt: Using what you know about me, show me the doorway to my future. Show what I’m leaving behind on one side and what I’m stepping into on the other. Make it personal to me and choose everything yourself. Don’t ask me questions—just create it. 🥹🥹🥹 this just reminded me of where I’ve been, where I am and where I am going by @cfborger
A few of my favorite things! by @cfborger
Just like that… I’m back to loving life again. 💙 🤍✨ If you saw me the first day I walked into school, you probably saw what can only be described as a five-year-old charging into the living room on Christmas morning. 😂 I could not WAIT to see my new space, my new school, my new home away from home. And tonight, I walked out of Room 147 feeling exactly how I hoped I would feel. Happy. Calm. Accomplished. Proud. And so, so excited. Is the room 100% finished? Absolutely not. 😂 We’ll call her a solid 95%. There will be things added, things moved, things I decide make absolutely no sense once 20-something little humans actually enter the equation. Because a classroom isn’t really finished when the labels are hung and the bulletin boards are ready. It becomes a classroom when the kids arrive. Tomorrow, I get to meet some of my newest little friends, and soon this room will be filled with their names, their work, their ideas, their questions, their laughter, their stories, their hopes and dreams — all the things that will breathe life into this space and make it ours. After all the boxes, the moving, the uncertainty, the planning, the rearranging, and the approximately 847 times I stood in the middle of this room staring at something and thinking, “Okay…but where should THAT go?” 😂 — I can finally see it. The space I imagined. The fresh start I was so excited for. The beginning of a brand-new chapter. There is something about Room 147 that already feels like I was meant to be here. Year 13, I am SO ready for you. 🌱💙🤍 And to my newest little friends… I can’t wait to meet you. 🥹✨ by @cfborger
’Twas the night before the alarm was set to ring, And this teacher was READY for the whole dang thing. ✨ The lunch bag was packed, the outfit laid out, And Year 13 was calling—there wasn’t a doubt. A brand-new classroom, new hallways, new crew, New memories waiting and adventures to do. 💙🐾 There are boxes to unpack and plenty ahead, A million ideas still swirling in my head. But tonight there’s excitement, anticipation too, Because after all this waiting… it’s finally time to DO. To build something special, to make the room ours, To turn all those plans into magical hours. So set that alarm—I’m as ready as can be. Put me in, Coach. It’s Year 13 for me! 🙌🏻 Here’s to fresh starts, new chapters, and all that’s in store… Ok now, I’m ready. LET ME THROUGH THAT DOOR! 🐾💙🍎 by @cfborger
I could’ve gone to the gym this morning. In fact, I had TWO opportunities to go to the gym this morning. Did I? No. 😂 Suddenly it was almost noon, I’d been up since 6, and I was dangerously close to declaring the whole day a lost cause. So instead of kicking myself for what I didn’t do, I threw together a quick down-and-dirty home workout: treadmill warm-up, squats, push-ups, rows, reverse lunges, mountain climbers, and a little core finisher. 💪🏻 Was it the workout I planned? Nope. Did it still count? HELL YES. Sometimes consistency isn’t doing it exactly the way you pictured it. Sometimes it’s looking at the clock, putting on the damn sneakers, and doing something anyway. And now? Onto the rest of this Saturday… including mowing the lawn with the walk-behind. Because why stop at one form of cardio? 😂🌱 #HomeWorkout #ConsistencyOverPerfection #JustGetMoving #SaturdayWorkout #DoneIsBetterThanPerfect by @cfborger
I asked ChatGPT to separate my heart from my mind… and this is what it created. PROMPTS: Using everything you know about me, separate my heart from my mind and create a cinematic image. Show them as two different versions of me. Use symbolism instead of words. Don’t explain anything. Just show me. Would your heart and your mind tell the same story? #chatgptviral #chatgptprompts #chatgpt #fyp #prompt by @cfborger
✨ Future Me Will Thank Me — Episode 7! ✨ Tonight’s project: putting together my reading binder… well, one of them, at least. 😂📚 A little cutting, folding, and sliding later, each kiddo officially has their own numbered section ready to hold reading data, notes, and all the little pieces of information I’ll inevitably need throughout the year. Is this glamorous? Absolutely not. 😂 But will Future Me be VERY happy when I can flip right to the kiddo I need without digging through a binder? You bet. Now I’m curious—how do YOU organize your reading binders, assessment data, and reading notes? I’m always interested to see what systems actually work for other teachers! And with that… we’re calling it a wrap. Homegirl is TIRED. 😴✌️ #FutureMeWillThankMe #TeacherPrep #KindergartenTeacher #TeacherOrganization #BackToSchoolPrep by @cfborger
Thank you to @Kindergarten Smorgasboard for this great idea and download! 🍎📚 This has quickly become one of my favorite beginning-of-the-year books to share with my kinders—and now it’s prepped, printed, and ready to go! 🙌 Another little thing checked off the back-to-school list, which means… Future Me Will Thank Me! ✨ Episode 6! Because every little thing I can do now is one less thing September Me has to think about. 😂👏 #FutureMeWillThankMe #KindergartenTeacher #BackToSchoolPrep #TeacherLife #Kindergarten by @cfborger
