Life moves fast & my hand out the window…… every now and then I look back and there’s the cross ✝️ a quiet reminder that I don’t have to have it all figured out. I’m not perfect, and I never will be. But I’m learning that not every moment needs to be overthought, solved or carried on my own. Sometimes the wisdom is simply to surrender it to the Big Homie upstairs, trust Him with the rest, and enjoy what’s right in front of me.

Off-grid. Good food. Good music. A few laughs. Good company & most importantly watching ball, the only game they play upstairs. 🏉😂

Grateful for the brotherhood, friendships & the memories and the reminder that life isn’t just about getting somewhere. Sometimes it’s about slowing down enough to appreciate the simple things…. by @cfetoai

A moment to see their culture, hear their language, connect with their roots, and meet family they were seeing for the first time. As their Dad, moments like this mean even more. What started as a few days away became something deeper, despite the wind pushing back and plans shifting, in God’s timing we still found what mattered….time on the water, time as a family, and time with G’Ma and Pa. The girls earned their pocket money through serving, learning that nothing is given but built through discipline, humility, and stewardship, while the legacy being poured into them on these trips is beyond words , I’m reminded that leading this family isn’t by chance but by calling to walk alongside @daniellecaseyfetoai and raise our girls with strength, resilience, and Christ at the centre…and in the midst of it all, breaking bread with @tanalex and uso @willgenia, speaking life and sharpening one another, staying aligned in our walk with Jesus, because becoming the man I’m called to be isn’t left to hope, it’s pursued daily through Him, still growing, still building, but anchored in purpose, TYJ ✝️🙏🏽 by @cfetoai

Stuck inside, out of games… so naturally, I grabbed a quick nap 😅 Woke up to grey skies… and the girls were already off to the dunes, getting their cardio fix before catching up with the grandparents. Between cart wheels, running in the rain, training today with Amani was suicides, hunting for trolleys, hauling the grandparents’ stuff up to the apartment, and sneaking in chocolate Brotein and board games, IYKYK, the ones grandma secretly slips you 😆

There’s something about footprints in the sand… at first glance, it looks like they’re just following mum. But really, it’s deeper, values, habits, faith, discipline, all being learned simply by living alongside them but look closer….no one forced them, they just chose it.

Then you step back and watch Ross and Elaine, 70 years strong, showing up, loving consistently, leaving their own quiet version of footprints and legacy. No speeches, just life lived well. It reminds me of the footprints poem…in life’s storms, when there is just one set of footprints, it’s because Jesus carried us through. That’s how I hope our family’s love and faith shows up for the girls, carrying them when they need it most. Proverbs says to train up a child in the way they should go… and you can see it happening right in front of you. Makes you think, what will our grandchildren see when they look back at us?

Feeling grateful for it all. Ross and Elaine, thank you for loving on our family, it leaves a mark bigger than you probably realise. These moments might seem small… but they’re planting seeds that last generations ✝️ TYJ by @cfetoai

Today’s task… if you can see it, then build it… and if you can build it, I’ll take you there. Got hit with the Identity questions again “Dad, where are we from? What does Samoa look like?” So we did a quick bit of research… and then came A&K’s masterpiece 😂 Seaweed, sticks, shells, starfish str8 from the ocean. My little Moana’s brought the vision to life & proud dad moment for me. Family time done right, breaking bread on the beach, a bit of footy, Bible study, and education with Mama @daniellecaseyfetoai!

Day 2 rolled on with my 5k return, and of course Kartier wasn’t missing it 😅 We walked, we ran… then came the test she set for 5 hill sprints up the Tangalooma dunes. She went 3/5 and for a 5-year-old, that’s a solid effort. Already backing herself “I’ll get all 5 tomorrow, Dad” 👀 we’ll see 😂

That’s the lesson though….see it, step into it, fall short if you have to… but keep leaning in. Confidence and wisdom aren’t given, they’re built and she’s building nicely. Let’s see what Day 3 brings for A&K….TYJ ✝️ by @cfetoai

Came back from a morning run and next minute Kartier’s out here hitting sprints like she’s got a contract 😂 That’s my MoanaBee mini-me… energy, heart, and clearing the noise of hesitation. We had solid 2 x 10min halves, few pep talks in between reps, correcting her squats, fixing her movements… and just like the qualified cheerleader I am, Maui & Moana clicked. It’s the 1st time we’ve really connected on this level. Not forced, just caught by DNA! I love how these moments starts. Little eyes watching, little feet following… and before you know it, seeds are planted, discipline, confidence and showing up when it counts. Now I get to ride the wave. Push some limits, build her up, and grow her from the inside out and lean in. Looking forward to coaching you this year, Kartier…Morning Day 2 Tanga26 🙏🏽#TYJ by @cfetoai
