A question I’ve been asked a lot lately is: “How will you know you’ve made it?” The more I sit with it, the more I realize the answer isn’t anything tangible, a physical place or a check. “Making it” seems more like an ongoing evolution…one that grows richer with time and effort. Even if you’ve only grown a little more than yesterday, you made that. You did that. A better question and the one I’ll always ask myself is: What’s next?

One of the greatest gifts that came ‘next’ for me this summer was finally having a place to create. As a photographer, a studio isn’t just about work…it’s about development of self, freedom, experimentation, and collaborating with fellow creatives. I dreamed of what it would look and feel like long before it arrived, and the reality fell nothing short of the vision.

@wtfdumbostudio has become my creative home. A place without distraction or pressure. A place where growth, collaboration, and connection flourish. For me, it’s also where I practice self-liberation…something I once had, lost for a while, and now feel I’m returning to. (I did that.)

These photos, captured by @cfkmedia, reflect where I am in this moment…the result of just a few years of non-stop nurturing, self-love and discipline. Free. Relieved. Joy-filled. Safe. Strong. At peace. At home. A little more liberated than yesterday.
