“Before I changed anything around me … I had to change myself.” ⭐️ @cfnxblends

Today’s guest truly does come from humble beginnings. Malik is a Nashville native, have seen the halls of Gra Mar Middle School & Maplewood High School, but comes to talk about how all those experiences cultivated the man of today. Malik shares with us times of hardship like homelessness, addiction, even jail time has been something he’s experienced … but the young man is making a full turnaround behind how he lives his life. Now, he is a proud barber student and goes by the name “CFN Blends”. You cannot fault a man for trying, and Malik definitely is making sure that his name is stamped in the city by cutting heads and creating relationships wherever he goes. He’s an humble guy, with an ambition for greatness and self development … take some time to listen to a black man vent today. 🙏🏽

THIS IS THE KIND OF WORK WE NEED. 🙏🏾❤️

I had the opportunity to tag along with an incredible nonprofit that goes inside juvenile facilities and pours directly into our young men & young women

They don’t just talk to them—they show up for them.
They talk about God. 🙏🏾
They pray with them.
They play basketball with them. 🏀
They listen to them.
They encourage them.
They Workout with them.
They remind these young men that their current situation does NOT have to determine their future.

I got to witness this firsthand, and honestly, it reminded me that sometimes all a young person needs is for somebody to walk through that door and say, “I still believe in you.”

Our youth need people willing to step into the places most people overlook and shine some light. 💯

Because when these young men & women come home, we want them coming home with purpose, faith, confidence, direction, and somebody in their corner.

This is about changing lives.

God put on my Heart to use my platform to shed light on this work and to ask my community: (PLEASE SUPPORT THIS)...

Whether you can donate, volunteer, connect them with resources, share this post, or simply put more eyes on the mission—it all matters.

If we really care about our youth, this is what caring looks like. ❤️‍🔥

LET’S POUR INTO OUR YOUTH BEFORE THE STREETS DO.

Tag somebody who needs to see this. Share this. Support the mission. 🙏🏾
