surprise! I crossed a huge item off my bucket list and went to @bravotopchef Restaurant Wars in September and kept it a secret (almost) until now. I stole away to Toronto for a single day, where I ate two 3 course dinners, drank a lot of Josh, and somehow found time for a poutine nightcap. You can catch me in the background of both Judges’ Table setups, as long as you like looking at my back.

huge thanks to the chefs (especially @lana_cooks for that otherworldly consommé and @massimoagogo for sending our table home with the rest of the kitchen’s corn ice cream), my table mates for putting up with me (and taking most of these photos), and most of all @daydimaggio for making this a reality! #topchef #restaurantwars taken in Toronto, Ontario by @cfxd

In 2015, I declined tickets to Hamilton at the Public because I had important plans to stay home and watch SNL’s 40th anniversary special. A year later, I became the luckiest NBC Page in the world. #snl50 taken in SNL NBC Studio by @cfxd

Some flowers bloom
Where the green grass grows
Our praise is not for them
But the ones who bloom in the bitter snow
We raise our cups to them
