Welcome to my Bridging Worlds Campaign! It is dedicated to making Bald Head Island a more inclusive and accessible community. Bald Head Island is a “golf cart only” island off the coast of Wilmington, North Carolina. My parents have been going there since 2001, and I have spent every Thanksgiving and summer there since I was born. Its beauty has made an imprint on my heart and in my soul. That’s why it’s important to me that it is accessible to everyone.

Over the years, I have noticed the lack of accessibility for people with disabilities on the island. This became especially frustrating and heartbreaking for my family when my Aunt Michelle, who we have always traveled with, could no join us because her Multiple Sclerosis had advanced. As I grew up, I could see her disease making it more and more difficult for her to get around on the Island. It’s my dream that my Aunt Michelle and others suffering from diseases like MS would be able to return to Bald Head Island and enjoy a better quality of life.

The one thing you can never get back in life is quality time with your loved ones. I am determined to try to solve this problem. After some research, I discovered that there are wheelchair-accessible golf carts available—but the island has none.

My vision is to rally together to raise funds for the purchase of several wheelchair-accessible golf carts! My current GoFundMe goal is to raise $50,000 dollars to purchase these vehicles. These golf carts will not only be a huge help to my family, but a major, and potentially life-changing opportunity, for the community of Bald Head Island.

In addition to this GoFundMe initiative, I will also use my passion and talents in Astrophotography to create a 2024-2025 wall calendar with my favorite space images on display. I have spent countless nights dedicated to my love of the cosmos. I have been photographing the sky for the past three years.

On my website I am asking for a donation of $50 dollars per calendar. They will be available to purchase on my website by June 1, 2024. Or any donation to the go fund me would be amazing.

Best Yet 🔭

This is the Orion Nebula in the constellation Orion. This is undoubtably the most photographed deep sky object out there for astrophotographers. This nebula is the brightest in the sky and can be seen without a telescope. This picture is my favorite I have ever taken. The pure detail, the colors, the structure and faint dust all make this my favorite image. This shot also shows my progress and how I’ve gotten way better. The picture next to it is the same nebula photographed with the same telescope only a year ago. The progression is insane. This was also my “first” light with my 9.25 inch telescope and EQ6R-Pro mount.

1 hour and 5 minutes of exposure time (45 sec subs)
(Unguided)

Equipment

• Celestron EdgeHD 9.25
• Canon 80D
• EQ6R-Pro
•Remote Shutter

AURORA BOREALIS

WOW, Last night was incredible. Seeing it with my own eyes was insane and an experience I’ll never forget. But then seeing my camera shutter and looking into the screen to see what it was was even more mind blowing. I’ve wanted to see the northern lights myself ever since I was little and seeing it like this was insane. The run was definitely worth it

Solar Eclipse 24’ ☀️☁️

What a crazy day, I did not think that the solar eclipse i was gonna see today was gonna be as dramatic as this one truly was. Watching it go into totality was incredible and gave me a feeling I’m never gonna forget. Even with it being clouded the experience was amazing and better than I really imagined #sun #solareclipse #moon #stars #photographer #astrophotography #camera #canon #solarphotography #telescope #astronomy taken in Buffalo, New York by @cg.astro

ANDROMEDA GALAXY 🗣️

It’s been a while since I’ve dropped a post and it’s because I’ve been so busy with school and sports but with fall sports ending it’s time to get back at it. Some new stuff coming soon hopefully. Make sure to also drop a follow to my photography account! @thepizzacam

BILLIONS

This is the Andromeda Galaxy, the closest galaxy to the Milky Way Galaxy. Over 2.5 million light years away set on a collision course with our galaxy in a few billion years. I photographed this almost a full month ago but totally forgot to post it. I haven’t been active recently because of how busy the beginning of the school year has been. As I get deeper into the year more will come. But for now here’s Andromeda 🌌

NGC 6960

The Veil Nebula, a supernova remnant 1470 light years away in the constellation Cygnus. Also more known as the Western Veil Nebula. This shot consists of 3 hours and 35 min of exposure time. One of my best yet.

SADR REGION 🌌

The Sadr region in the constellation Cygnus showcases both dark and emission nebulae, with the Sadr star being the brightest in the image. This captivating scene is captured after sunset, as it rises in the northeastern sky. This ridiculous photograph is a result of a lengthy exposure of 4 hours and 50 minutes, reminding us of the mind-boggling wonders of space.

CELESTIAL SURGE 🌊

This image captures the North American Nebula in the constellation Cygnus, showcasing a detailed close-up. Composed of ionized interstellar gas, the nebula is illuminated by youthful, high-temperature stars. I used my Svbony 70mm telescope to capture this shot, marking the beginning of a series of nebula images I plan to capture throughout this summer.
