This #timelinetuesday is long overdue ☕ 🍩

Crammed a lot into this 9x16 frame - still cropping stuff out tho, I think 😅 - but this is most of it!

Last year I provided #sounddesign for a series of global @krispykreme ads celebrating #internationalcoffeeday

Every time I rewatch them, I can’t help but smile. Here’s a little #bts - at least of the session showing how much goes into a project like this.

I'm pretty excited about one of the projects I'm working on atm, but can't post it yet. So in the meantime, here's a lil #remotework #bts 📽️ for fun where you can hear a bit of the #filmscore as it exists now.

We were on #lakehuron at the time, so I also had to take the camera around the property for a bit of fun, too.

So I definitely didn't forget #timelinetuesday again, I fully intended to post my timeline at 5pm on a Friday 😅 . Well, actually 2 timelines. One for a feature #documentary 🎬 that I've really enjoyed digging into and the other for a bit of #filmscoring 🎹 - which at the demoing phase is a bit.. well, disorganized.

I've totally missed the deadline for #timelinetuesday and I'm somehow still unprepared 😅 . But! I still want to share!

Last year I wrote a sort of #filmscore and provided #sounddesign for a really awesome spooky kids book 🎃 . I'm not sure I ever actually shared much of it, but given spooky season is coming up I'm going to pull it back out are share some snippets! For now, though, a screenshot is all I can muster 📸 .

I'm back for #timelinetuesday 🎬 with a little music iso from the @ford Louisville assembly plant video! Me and @johnjmilleriv decided to go a particular direction with the vibe for this one and I LOVE how it turned out (and thankfully the team and client did as well 😅).

Filmmaking/video creation is a library of skills. At least for me. This is probably self induced, but one moment I get to pull the creative book off the self and dream about what a piece can be. The next, I need to pull the scheduling book to figure out how to prep/scout and film in three days with no take backsies in an active construction zone. Then the fun book, budget, is always there watching and lurking. Those numbers need to be present for creativity to grow and even though they can feel limiting, it’s really just a problem in need of solving. It’s always a balance to make sure I capture what the project needs, while holding the creative line, and directing all my collaborators, pre to post, while staying in the allocated budget. Yaaaayyyy MovieFilms!

Below are stills from my most recent project with @wheelhousemedia and @burson.global for @ford about @Louisville Assembly Plant which is currently being retooled for the upcoming Ford Fathom. Pretty awesome to learn about and help communicate how Kevin Young designed and worked with the LAP folks to create the Universal EV Production System. Credits are below for all the lovely humans who I collabed with to get this to the finish line.

It's been a minute - life gets hectic - but I'm FINALLY sharing this project for #timelinetuesday! 🎞️✂️

The team at @wheelhousemedia my partner in crime @johnjmilleriv and I are super proud of this project for @ford detailing the complete retool of the Louisville Assembly Plant for Ford's bold new Universal EV Production System.

I got to not only work on the sound design of this piece, but we pitched a unique score that I absolutely love. (I'll share more of just that later on!)

I'm late! I missed #timelinetuesday 🎛️ - things have been busy. But! While this project isn't out yet (and I seriously can't wait to share this one, the team killed it) here is a little sneak peak at the timeline. 🤫

It was a biggin', and I did a full DX restore, SFX, GFX, Foley, and more work up, PLUS an original score for the whole thing.

Also... I haven't forget about sharing my template. It's still in the works!

Is #throwbackthursday / #tbt still a thing? I was feeling kind of nostalgic the other day looking through photos. I moved to LA when I was 17, went to Musicians Institute’s RIT program, and was working in the industry by the time I was 18.

Having great teachers is a truly valuable privilege. I learned that one of my favorite passed earlier this year. He wasn’t a “teacher” from school but one of my first bosses. My 18 year old brain learned a ton, but it couldn’t absorb it all which is why even years later I found myself having retroactive realizations through memories of lessons I didn’t fully understand in the moment.

I don’t know what the point of this post is other than to express gratitude for the patience, kindness, and wisdom of those who I’ve had the privilage to work for, work with, and study under. What a gift.

It’s #timelinetuesday again and I thought I’d share a session that I just finished adding new material to.. but also a bit of my process I don’t usually show: the print deck! 🖨️ 🎞️

Every project has a variety of deliverables. My process for printing masters and stems is all built into my sessions in a way that a highlight and two clicks renders all assets at once 🎛️ . I keep all prints in an archival area for the project, chronologically ordered, so every single asset sent out for the production is always accessible for reference! 📂

I’ll share my session setup at some point if anyone is interested - let me know in the comments! I’ve kinda been meaning to update it for a few months so maybe that will give me an excuse to clean it up 😅
