Now vs. Then 🏃‍♂️ 💪

Great to let it rip today in the Hyrox Partner Simulation Event at @gsr_fit with my buddy of 15+ years @adamvxc.98. He’s not so little anymore, and carried us through to a 52:xx effort (the runs were 800m). Proud of the awesome dude he’s become.

Congrats to my old friend @gregrollo on an amazing event and for cultivating such a supportive and badass community back in my hometown of Binghamton, NY.

10 Years. ❤️

🥂 to us and especially @kbuelta. What a joy it is to “love the girl who holds the world in a paper cup.”

So many amazing memories, experiences and lessons together these past 10 years, highlighted by the perfect blessing of our 2 beautiful boys.

Gaube Copenhagen 2026!

Another great trip in the books. The boys cheered on Dad as he ran the Copenhagen Marathon in support of brain cancer research, having raised over $11k to benefit @stachestrong. Brody shined in the Copenhagen “mini marathon” the day before where he ran the entire way for a mile-long race.

For the first part of our trip we stayed in an awesome apartment in the heart of the city that was walking distance to restaurants, parks and Tivoli Gardens.

The highlight for the boys was a trip to Lego Land in Billund, DK where we stayed in a Ninjago themed room. At night we turned off the lights and took turns telling stories. Simon repeatedly told the plot line of Jumanji - “There was a boy named Alan..who played a game with a girl named Sarah Whittle…” and we laughed every time.

Other notable experiences were The Blue Planet Aquarium and the Copenhagen Experimentarium. We made a couple visits to Bastards Cafe where we enjoyed some pints while playing board games with the kids. The boys developed a small obsession with the song/video Thriller and danced the moves all over town.

We had a nice visit with Uncle Bent and Aunt Suzanna in Ølstykke, DK. We spent a day exploring the Danish royal family’s summer home grounds and the Danish Museum of Science and Technology. Bent prepared us some delicious dinners and drinks and we enjoyed some great late night conversations.

Thankful for a great experience and hope to be able to visit again. Skål! 🙂 by @cgaube

HYROX New York ✅

Powered by limited sleep, hectic work, travel, stress, and daily chaos with my amazing kiddos.

But in all seriousness, big thanks to @claudia_carrea and the @fitbodybykrista tribe for the coaching and prep.

The wall balls nearly sent me into early retirement, but as my buddy @joeynotch and I have said through decades of @nyknicks fandom: All Grit. No Quit.

Channeled that Big Brunson Energy. Not pretty. Never easy. But somehow, we keep finding a way. 🏁💪🗽 taken in Pier 76 by @cgaube

✅ Copenhagen Marathon 2026

A deeply personal and meaningful journey made possible by the support of so many, but especially my boys and their beautiful mother @kbuelta.

I’m at a loss for words for the $11,318 raised (so far) for brain cancer research to benefit @stachestrong. I’m determined to hit $12k+ so please keep the donations coming! Every $1 is one step closer to finding a cure for brain cancer.

When the going got tough and I fought to maintain pace, I kept hearing a voice in my head saying “Steady Eddy…Steady Eddy.” Words I’ve seldom ever used. It kept me going. I think it must’ve been my buddy Geej keeping me on track. Mind you, he’s the real Steady Eddy! He always maintained perfect even splits, and was about as much of a 🪨 as any person you could ever have the privilege of knowing.

@cphmarathon was amazing. 10/10 recommend!

Congratulations to all 10 of the Team StacheStrong runners who absolutely crushed it today.

Also, a special shoutout to @givengainfoundation who helped make this journey possible as well. taken in Copenhagen, Dennmark by @cgaube

It’s on! Copenhagen Marathon 2026 aka #CPH42 (@cphmarathon) with Team StacheStrong (@stachestrong).

It’s been an inspiring and challenging journey to race day, but worth every second…

Thank you everyone for all your support in the fight against brain cancer.

There’s still plenty of time to donate. See my fundraising page at the link in my comments, or on my bio.

Yes, my stache is now in full send mode! 🏃🏻‍♂️

As promised, once I hit $10k raised for brain cancer research. 🙏🏻

This journey has inspired me, humbled me and even wrecked me at times..

So much inspo these past few weeks hearing the stories of runners at @bostonmarathon and @londonmarathon.

A huge shoutout to my guy Colin Gerner, CEO of @stachestrong, who raised over $250,000 in the journey to the 130th Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America. I am quite literally blown away by his leadership and vision to flip the script on brain cancer. 🤯

Now we have 2 weeks to go to @cphmarathon! Moving the goal post a bit further, and I ask humbly for your support. Please do consider a contribution. See my fundraising link in the comments (or on my IG profile thanks to the @meta x @givengainfoundation collab).

No…I’m not running the 130th Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America. 💙 💛

Privileged to still be here in Boston to support the Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program with @givengainfoundation.

Years ago, some friends and I started the tradition of running some miles on the course the day prior to the race, something we aptly deemed “The Spiritual Journey.”

Today’s Spiritual Journey was 20.54 miles running out and back on the marathon course. Special thanks to my buddy @grantclark10 who supported me riding alongside on the bike.

I’ve run Boston 3x, and The Spiritual Journey at least 5x. Today gave me a different perspective though. 2 big takeaways:

1. I tolerated ZERO walking on my trek today. Jk Jk (too soon)…Anyone out there moving has my 🫡
2. I’m older, and busier, and slower now. But I’m still out here and I’m grateful.

I AM however running the @cphmarathon in a few weeks to raise critical funds for brain cancer research to benefit @stachestrong. Please consider supporting. See my fundraising page in the comments. taken in Boston Marathon Finish Line by @cgaube

When Colin Gerner, CEO and co-founder of @stachestrong, lost his brother GJ Gerner to brain cancer, running became part of how he carried the fight forward. What began as a personal mission has since grown into a global movement, with runners around the world stepping up to support the cause.

One of those runners is @cgaube, CMO of GivenGain, who will be taking on the @cphmarathon in support of StacheStrong. For Chris, the run is deeply personal. GJ was a friend and mentor he admired since high school.

From the streets of Hoboken to marathon start lines across Europe, runners are turning their miles into meaningful momentum for brain cancer research.
