Random photo dump…..and a long post. My wife has wanted a camper for a long time, about 9 months ago she finished her research and had an AT Overland Equipment Aterra slide in truck bed camper built. After that long wait, her camper is done!

Short version - we drove to Arizona and back to get it, here are some pics.

Long version, Jess planned an awesome road trip.

Day 1 Detroit to Des Moines
Day 2 Des Moines to evergreeen Co to hang with Jessica Gilbert’s friend Stef.
Day 3 evergreen to frisco, breakfast with Daric Lindsey, then Leadville to aspen, independence pass, and off to Moab.
Day 4, after sleeping in the tent along the Colorado River we finished the drive into Moab for fuel/food and then drove up to canyonlands and down shafer trail/potash into town. 10/10 recommend the switchbacks. Across the desert and off to Prescott!
Day 5, camper day, excited Jess in the waiting room! Off to the Grand Canyon.
Day 6 - bright angel sunrise, start at 4am sharp! The. Off to arches to get permits by 2:30pm. Slick rock MTB trail, turned back early due to lightning close by, side quest for steps into the camper and dinner at the best desert view around, the sunset grill. Then a 1.5 hour 4wd road out into the desert, gotta camp close to tomorrows hike. NO REST ALLOWED SAYS JESS!!
Day 7 - firey furnace in arches, 10/10 recommend. Off to Rocky Mountain we go! Lunch in Grand Junction, a soak in hot Sulphur springs in the hot mineral pools (again, 10/10 recommend). Dispersed camping near the park entrance in grand lake.
Day 8 - “rest day” - morning hike in RMNP from grand lake to angel falls, lunch in grand lake and off to our campground in RMNP.
Day 9 - last day, up at 4 to get a parking spot before timed entry begins, hike to dream lake and emerald lake for an awesome sunrise. Fuel and a donut in Estes park and we’re on our way home. Stayed at the cleanest rest area I’ve ever seen on i80 near Davenport.
Day 10 - oat meal and hot chocolate on i80 and a hell of a sunrise (one of the better on our trip)😂 Davenport to home.
