Very special and refueling evening on Lake Champlain. My battery was running low as I process life without my sister Stephanie Sue Goss in it, compounded by the 2nd anniversary of loosing my hero JB. Thank you Boss for the ‘lovely cruise’ as it got me out where I could feel my sadness and experience gratitude that heals. by @cgdreams

My daughter is proud, strong, smart, brave, tender, and incredibly resilient. She is the product of her life experiences. She is a comforting light in a dimly lit hospital room when a total stranger is lonely, afraid, confused, frustrated, in pain, and at a loss of hope. She is a Spartan Nurse and a bedside Angel. I am so proud of her and grateful for her willingness to serve. To all the the Nurses on the front lines, thank you for your sacrifices. Much respect during Nurses Week 2025. 💚🤍 by @cgdreams

So proud of my bad ass mom and sister. Proud for everyone out there, showing up and not allowing this scorched earth chaos to be normalized. Mom marched in Flint in with that same girl in a stroller to support Roe v Wade hearings! Amazing that an entire lifetime of progress on so many fronts has been destroyed in a matter of months. Drove down to Waitsfield, VT yesterday to support the JD Vance protests. Proud of Vermonts bold spirit to resist MAGA. Stumbled across this moving piece at Canteen Creemee Company depicting Nurses as Superheroes in our world. It stirred up pride for my Nurse daughter Ruby and the necessity for each of us to discover or reclaim our own superhero to do good in our families, communities, and professions. It’s all we have to call upon in these dark times. What are each of us doing to care for the people to the right and the left us on the sidewalk of life.
