Kaley Ann Voorhees as Lucy Honeychurch. Kaley Ann is most known for being the youngest person to play Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, where she made her Broadway debut. She went on to perform in Prince of Broadway, a musical centered around the life and works of legendary director and producer Hal Prince, in both the touring Japanese and Broadway productions. Kaley had the honor of returning to the role of Christine on the international tour of Phantom during their run in Taipei, while it was the only production in the world still performing during the pandemic. Other credits include Candide (New York City Center), and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon TV). Currently, Kaley Ann is reprising her role as Christine in Phantom's new immersive "Masquerade" Off-Broadway, where her experience working directly with legendary director Hal Prince has allowed her to help inform this new take on the musical with the magic of the original Broadway production.

A big thank you to all of the industry members who filled AMT Theater for the first public presentation of A ROOM WITH A VIEW last night. The room was buzzing, the energy was palpable, and the joy felt by the audience was being reciprocated tenfold by the cast and creatives. We are so thankful for the support received so far, and can’t wait for what’s next.

BEST PITCH WINNER: Tuesday night, the story of Lucy Honeychurch swam with sharks, and the evening was one worth celebrating. After a night of truly inspirational pitches from fantastic new musicals, A ROOM WITH A VIEW received extremely generous feedback from the panel of Broadway Producers as well as the evening’s “Best Pitch” prize: an ICON Membership to Open Jar Studios which will allow our show free rehearsal space to further develop Lucy’s journey over the next year. To say this is humbling would be an understatement, and a HUGE thank you must go out to everyone associated with Shark Tank as well as to the many fans of RWAV (both old and new) who supported and believed in this piece. Exciting things are on the horizon, and thanks to last night they’re now a little closer.

SPOTLIGHT ON DESIGN: Today we're so lucky to share these gorgeous concept-designs created by @jessiebaldinger ! With an MFA from Yale's School of Drama, Jessie (who's most recent Broadway work includes assistant set design for "JOB" and "I Need That") brings the show's script to life in striking detail, showing just what a live production of RWAV can (and will!) look like.

Lucky to have been asked to make a small contribution toward what would have been Stephen Sondheim's 96th birthday over on @thesondheimhub! The article is full of personal stories regarding Sondheim's impact on artists of every generation, and I'm very grateful to be featured alongside Tracie Bennett, Mark Eden Horowitz, Liz Callaway, Melissa Errico, and Drew Gasparini to name a few. Check out the full article-link in my bio and go give Sondheim Hub a follow! Their subscriber articles are absolutely fantastic. (And, for goodness sake, someone please put me in another Sondheim show asap🪒☂️)
