On June 24th, CGN Uranium Skoye Company held a donation ceremony for the second phase of its Hope Farm project in Omaheko Province, Namibia. The second phase of Hope Farm represents a total investment of approximately 3 million Namibian dollars. In addition to the initial release of 104 quarantined lambs, the farm will simultaneously undergo infrastructure upgrades, improving accommodation, medical care, and other supporting facilities. At the invitation of President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah of the Republic of Namibia paid a state visit to China from July 5 to 11. This marks President Ndaitwah’s first visit to China since she took office. From the Namib Desert to communities, families, and youth development sites, CGN's cooperation with Namibia has always been based on long-term investment, responsible operation, and common development.

To date, CGN has invested nearly US$5 billion in Namibia. The Husab Uranium Mine, constructed and operated by CGN Uranium S.A. Ltd., is one of China's largest single industrial investment projects in Africa and a vivid example of China and Namibia jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.
The project adheres to localized operation. Currently, local employees account for approximately 95%。Through scholarships, vocational education, internship programs, and on-the-job training, CGN continuously supports the growth of local talent, accumulating long-term momentum for industrial development.
Responsibility is not only reflected in project operation but also integrated into the daily development of the community. The CGN Uranium Industry Sków Foundation has long focused on education, people's livelihood, security, agriculture, and emergency support, continuously carrying out projects such as the "Husab Cup" Marathon, "Hope Farm," and community solar lighting to make development achievements more tangible, accessible, and sustainable.

On June 29, the 100MW concentrated solar power (CSP) plant at CGN's Jixi Base, the northernmost CSP plant in China, commenced operation in Da'an City, Jilin Province. Located in a frigid climate zone at 45.36°N, the plant employs a single-tower, single-mirror molten salt tower technology, with an installed capacity of 100MW, a heat storage duration of up to 8 hours, and the ability to operate safely and stably continuously for 24 hours.
