Almost 8 years ago! Fun fact: One of first CG Sports clients was Olympic swimmer Jacob Pebley. One of our first projects was a photo and video shoot in Corvallis and Portland, Oregon. Jacob’s home state. This gave us marketing collateral to tell his story better within the Oregon market. That’s called branding! A few weeks later we signed a deal with the popular apparel brand @portlandgear 🧢👕 This would lead to many other fun partnerships with companies who loved Jacob’s brand and his story. 8 years later we’re still getting after it! The lesson here: Big things start with one small win at a time. If you can get one win, then you can get many. All it takes is one to get rolling☝🏽 by @cgsportsco

It is the first industry alliance of sports brands to publicly pledge to standardize maternity protections for both elite and recreational athletes. CG Sports Co client@kaleomaclay , a four-time Paralympic medalist, mother, and Legacy Champion with FAM+, was on the day's athlete panel. September recap: Golden month for CG Sports🥇 🏐Kaleo Maclay joined the Mother in Sport Collective panel at Strava HQ to talk about motherhood and disability in sport. 🚴‍♀️Grace Norman won her 7th World Championship paratriathlon title, then added a Team USA mixed relay gold. 🥽 Golden Goggles. Van Mathias took home Male Athlete of the Year and McKenzie Siroky was named Breakout Performer of the Year. 🏀Emily Oberst and Team USA women’s wheelchair basketball beat Canada 77-76 for the world title, their first since 2010. Emily also spent a Global Day of Service with Eli Lilly. ✌️LEAD. Two Summits. 100 girls.Minneapolis and Houston. And that’s a wrap on Lead weekend #10! This year we had 100 girls attend the @leadsportsco summit between our two events held in Minneapolis and Houston. LEAD brings together teenage girl athletes and women Olympians for a weekend of empowerment, vulnerability, confidence and transformation. The energy this past weekend in Houston was incredible. A huge thanks to our amazing hosts at @gulf_swimming @gulf.athletes for bringing LEAD in. Our Olympians led by @_king_lil with @baconswims @anna_peplowski @romano_kristen were amazing to see in action. The time, attention, vulnerability, openness and 1-1 time they gave to the Lead girls is something no other camp provides (not even close). It’s why Lead has girls have attended 4 years in a row (and counting). And why Lead parents have sent all of their girls to our summits. Our Lead speakers are all incredible women who are the best at what they do. A big thanks to @coach_christen @drmegancannon @lesleymb who led multiple keynotes and small breakout sessions on Confidence, Sports Psychology and Communications. A huge thanks to our team leaders led by @kristinabo13 @emma_solseng @avaportello @_lauren.cochran And finally the BTS Lead staff of @courtneymrandolph and @ellie.friedlander for making this event possible. Welcome to CG Sports @bethanyzummo! 🥳 Bethany is a 3x Paralympian and 3x gold medalist in sitting volleyball. She picked up volleyball as a teenager and has been part of every U.S. gold-medal sitting volleyball team since Rio 2016. She was named Best Libero at the 2018 World Championships and Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
