Dinner party no. 147. Iberico pork crostini with Brie, strawberry and homemade chimichurri. Homemade pesto puff pizzas. Hot house cucumber bites with mozzarella, huckleberry pepper jelly, maldon and black pepper. New England style clam chowder. Then @chefcaira perfected the art of the Seattle hot dog for dessert. Oh Pooler, you’re just a mini Gwinette County and I love you for it. Goated Seoul K Restaurant last night for some absolutely proper gamjatang, quite possibly my favorite Korean dish. I loved everything about it, from the banchan to the steamed egg. Today, I checked out Moobongri, which is a famous chain from Korea and had their Dwaegi gukbap, a beautifully clean pork soup. Ate it like a real Korean by dumping my rice bowl in it and seasoning it with black pepper and fermented shrimp. It’s absolute comfort in a bowl. I loved that I was welcomed in Korean at both languages, I haven’t felt that Korean in a while. I can’t wait to go back and eat more. There’s so many great options up there, shame Jacksonville doesn’t have the market for it. Oh well it’s only two hours away. #koreanfood #poolerga #감자탕 #돼지국밥 #willdriveforfood by @ch3fjames

@eat.campogrande Iberico pork Presa was absolutely freaking incredible. Soft French bread, medium Presa, melted Brie, strawberries and homemade chimichurri tied together for one of the most incredible bites. Cooked up some steak for tacos, made Seattle style hotdogs. I never order kimchi jjigae out at a restaurant, because mine is that good. Every time I post it, it gets no love. I guess the sound of hot dogs, tofu and fermented cabbage isn’t appealing to everyone. But those with complex palates and a love of spice get down. Slide three is my oxtail version. It was truly amazing. I’ve had kimchi jjigae four nights this week. I will also only eat steamed white rice with forbidden rice. It’s so beautiful. #ch3fjames #kimchijjigae #김치찌개 by @ch3fjames
