i miss you so much, but so incredibly proud of all the things you’re accomplishing💓. i love being your sister. i admire you in so many ways, but the main thing is your joy and generosity. you give so freely with the biggest smile on your face. i am just so grateful that we get to do life alongside each other🥹.

hi:). currently 6 in the morning & i have lots of thoughts (good ones)!! i don’t usually share super vulnerable moments of my life. i love to just spread joy in hopes that others see the love of Jesus through me. but, if the Lord has taught me anything through Cuba, it is that He can truly make light out of darkness and beauty out of brokenness.

i don’t know how He does it. i continue to be amazed and in shock. things that happened this year that i thought i would never heal from. that i would never understand. wanting to give up on Him, myself, everything. every question, every feeling, and every single fear was met. it wasn’t immediate, but it was so on time. He understood. He understands.

going into Cuba, the Lord put Matthew 5:14-16. a verse about not hiding the light that the Lord gives and shining it for all the world to see. in Cuba this year, there were a lot of things done to try to dim that light. but, the Lord’s hand was/is over me. not for a single moment did He let me go. this is honestly just a gratitude post & to let anyone + everyone know that you are not alone in your confusions, pain, suffering or doubts! there is also absolutely nothing wrong with you for having/thinking the very things that make us human.

when you have Him, you have everything. i know and feel that even deeper now. i was exposed and He covered me. i was left alone in the darkest moment of my life and His presence surrounded me. i’ve truly found a best friend in our high priest. a friend that loves at all times.

this song means a lot to me in my recovery from ptsd and my freedom. i haven’t lost my light:)). with the Lord, it’s impossible to. i am so imperfect, so broken— yet His light. i love Him so much. it was only Him. it can only ever be Him💓💌💘🌸🌟🌷.

also not a post to condemn missions at all. i absolutely LOVE missions. i LOVE Cuba and always will and hope to go back someday 💓💓💓. by @ch4sdiary
