Closing night got a little extra special for The Wedding Singer!

We were beyond honored to welcome Chad Beguelin — co-writer of the book and lyrics of the original Broadway production of The Wedding Singer — to our final performance last night. Chad is the brilliant Tony Award-nominated writer behind some of Broadway’s most beloved shows, including Aladdin (Disney’s Broadway musical) and The Prom, which was also adapted into a Netflix film.

To have the man who helped bring this story to life in the house for our closing night was a moment none of us will forget. Thank you, Chad. What an honor. ❤️

A huge shout out to @united and @scottkirby ! We boarded our flight to Texas and the flight attendant noticed our empty dog carrier. We explained that we had lost our beloved Tucker, but were on our way to Houston to adopt another rescue. They were so warm and wonderful and even gave us a goody bag and a Thank You card for adopting a rescue. That kind of service really touched our hearts and we’ll be flying United a lot more from now on! by @chadbeg

We had to say goodbye to our beloved Tucker yesterday. He was a rescue dog who had a rough four years before he came into our lives. The years of love and joy he gave us are impossible to measure. by @chadbeg
