I’m Chad Grittman, and I’m running to serve you on the Kansas City City Council in 2027, representing the upcoming vacant seat for the 6th District At-Large.

I believe the strength of our Kansas City community is shaped by the places we make. My campaign is all about building a Kansas City that works better for people, with streets, neighborhoods, and public spaces that bring us together and make our communities stronger…

Picked up my signature petition last week with my friend and fellow City Council candidate, @justinshortforthenorthland!

Before candidates can appear on the ballot, we have to collect signatures from Kansas City residents. For my At-Large race, that means gatherings at least 500 signatures by December.

So, If you see me out and about over the next 2 months, ask to sign my petition! Each signature gets me a little closer to the election in April 2027. by @chadforkc

Labor Day Weekend marks the unofficial end of Summer, and it was a full one for the campaign. Lots of soccer, community meetings, special events, and more soccer. Hundreds and hundreds of good conversations with all of you, old friends and new.

Another big one! Endorsed by the Greater Kansas City Building & Construction Trades Council, representing the union trades who build and train in Greater KC. 🛠️💪🏼

The Council is composed of many unions– from Boilermakers, Bricklayers, Cement Masons, Electrical Workers, Elevator Constructors, Floor Layers, Heat & Frost Insulators, Iron Workers, Operating Engineers, Pipe Fitters, Plasterers, Plumbers, Roofers, Sign Painters, Sheet Metal Workers, Sprinkler Fitters, and Teamsters– who power our infrastructure, buildings, and jobs in our city every day.
