Holy sweet green goodness of Canada. I love. by @chadshlosser

We know it’s taken us some time but on April 21st you’ll be hearing new music from us. Heck, we might even play some shows. Our link in our bio will allow you to hear the single right when it drops. 🕺🏻

In the studio putting finishing touches on things… New music on its way.

It’s Murph’s 9th Birthday today and I got this amazing memory (1st pic) of his 1st birthday where it looked like he was expecting a party. Sorry for being an annoying dog dad to you all for all these years but also, not. Look at this ridiculous, scruffy little dummy. 🎈 Happy Birthday Murph. by @chadshlosser

About time for a big update… So here it is. Coming up on a year of living back home in The San Juan Islands where I haven’t lived since I was a kid and let me tell you, it’s been heavenly. Got my dream home on the water complete with recording studio and a solid collection of puzzles. I can fish, hike, swim and chop firewood to my hearts content every day and I don’t take it for granted one bit.

But I guess the real big news is that I’m preparing to release a few albums that have been silently in the works for some time as well as some incredible feature films that I’ve been fortunate enough to produce and score with my pal @silkybeats . More on that soon…

Most of all, it’s been great having the peace and serenity here to create what I want and not feel like I’m in the rat race of the business any longer. I can breathe deep here and take my time and not feel the pressure of an industry that just doesn’t work for artists… And for the first time in a long time, I actually feel like an artist again. So I hope y’all dig what’s about to be thrown out from the island studio here and hey, give a shout if you find yourself in the Pacific Northwest and let’s drop a line. 🎣 Or cut a tune. 🎶 by @chadshlosser

It took me meeting and spending time with Bob and having the chance to put a band around him once to truly understand his contributions to music and the true meaning of The Grateful Dead. He was a Yoda of a man on stage. To him it was all about the collaboration and the flow between the players. Dynamics. Energy. Being one as a group. The moment…

The man was just a pure loving soul and such a kind, creative force. Rest in peace Bobby.

*the second photo is from his studio in San Rafael, CA. An image of him made up of hotel room keys from tour. ❤️

So much changed this year and it was absolutely glorious. Happy to be in my element and home again. Happy to not be chasing but just creating. Happy to be surrounded by so much beauty every day. Happy to slow down. Happy to have incredible people with me for the ride. Happy to have my health. Happy AI hasn’t completely taken over yet.
Love you all. by @chadshlosser

My amazingly kind, creative, caring, genius of a Grandpa today… Showing me a painting he did in 1958. So lucky to have him in my life. Absolute legend.

And yes, he’s the Grandpa that had the chocolate factory. 😎 by @chadshlosser

I love you, pal. So honored to have made some beautiful songs with you and shared so many evenings with our friends, sharing stories and laughs. You were one of a kind and knew from day one that there are no rules in music… which is exactly why everyone wanted you, admired you and will love you and your music forever. God speed to the great, Terry Reid. There’s an owl outside my window that sounds suspiciously a lot like you. @superlungsterry 💔 #terryreid #superlungs by @chadshlosser
