Baby is 24 today!!! I love you and I'm so proud of you Asher! What a year....completing your service in the Army, a little cross country move home, new job, first apartment! I am in awe of the lovely human you are every day. Thanks for calling me Mama and letting me love you through all of these stages of life! Thunderbird Dance Camp is always a special time and I get the privilege to coach an amazing team of humans and my baby!! This was Eme's second year dancing at camp and she had big goals for herself! She worked hard to be ready for camp and to take challenging classes. She danced her heart out every day and pushed herself! She made new friends, grew closer with teammates and had amazing performances!! She earned ribbons and a shirt and trophy!!! I'm so proud of her and can't wait to see how much more she grows this year!! Way to go Emelia Rose!! Also, I just love this team. Year ✌🏽 for Eme! I love watching her on this dance team journey! I already knew it was a magical adventure...and now I get to do it with her!!! She's grown SO much since tryouts last year! They got me good....real good! I had less than zero idea that Jenna was about to show up at the Mom/Dancer dinner and surprise me for state!!!! < 0 My heart burst wide open and all felt right in the world to have Jenna by our side for state....it's more complete with her there! Seniors...I can never repay you or thank you enough for this beautiful and generous gift!! What a treat for all of us to have Coach Jenna at dinner and makeup and cheering on our performance and taking pictures on the state floor..... Like I said at candlelight....dance team will bring you your best friends....and this year it LITERALLY brought me mine...all the way from Georgia! Baby's first state - as a dancer!! I could not be more proud of Eme - she took a risk and tried something new this year - and she poured her whole heart into becoming a dancer! She took every summer class we offered! She watched her videos! She reviewed dances at home in her room! She took every note and correction and applied it! And it all paid off! She has blossomed into a beautiful dancer - full of passion and dedication! I loved watching her perform - you have never seen much amazing facials!! I can't wait to watch her continue to grow! When Aaron told me he needed to take one more flight this year to make status...I knew just where we should go - to Georgia to see our Jernstroms!!! What a great way to end the year - a couple days playing, building forts, catching up, and just being with some of our favorite people! Auntie Jenn Jenn and Mr. Aaron were spoiled with hugs, giggles and the best hospitality! We also got to go to the MNF game and cheer on the Falcons at an amazing game! All I wanted for Christmas was to have all my kids in one place....and it happened! Asher was home for Christmas (it's been a couple years), Reneé spent lots of time with us, Abbey was home from Eugene, Gracie was home from Corvallis, and Eme (and George) enjoyed a full house! We are thankful that Nini and Papa could join us as well! Nobody got up at 6am for presents....we slept in, took our time, ate a big breakfast between stockings and gifts, watched movies, and ate a delicious dinner prepared by the grandparents!
