Jeriko Santos begins his first season as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Chaffey College, bringing a reputation for building competitive programs, developing student-athletes, and establishing a culture centered on accountability and excellence. Known for his energy, attention to detail, and ability to connect with players, Santos takes over the Panthers program after a highly successful run at Citrus College.

During his tenure as head coach of the Citrus College women’s basketball program from 2023–2026, Santos transformed the Owls into one of the top teams in the conference. He compiled a 50–26 overall record, led the program to back-to-back 3C2A Playoff appearances, and helped elevate Citrus to second in both all-time wins and winning percentage in program history. His teams developed a distinct identity on both ends of the floor, consistently leading the conference in scoring and turnovers forced while emphasizing pace, discipline, and defensive pressure.

Santos’ impact extended well beyond wins and losses. He built a program rooted in academic success and personal growth, guiding his team to a 100% graduation rate while earning recognition as a Scholar Team of the Year and posting the highest team GPA across all Citrus College athletics. His commitment to holistic development resulted in a Conference Player of the Year, the program’s first Sixth Man of the Year, eight All-Academic Team selections, and multiple student-athletes advancing to four-year institutions.

In addition to his role with the women’s program, Santos served as an assistant coach for the Citrus College men’s basketball team, where he played an integral role in one of the state’s premier programs. Working in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, scouting, player development, and game preparation—he helped the Owls capture four conference championships and make three 3C2A Final Four appearances.

During that stretch, more than 20 student-athletes transferred to four-year programs, reflecting Santos’ commitment to advancement at the next level.
