High above La Pobla de Segur, the abandoned hamlet of Montsor marks the beginning of one of those rides that feels properly wild.

Remote mountains, exposed ridgelines, huge views and raw singletrack, followed by a long descent all the way back to the valley.

Mountain biking in the Pre-Pyrenees at its best. 🤘 #trenkabikers by @chainguidemtb

TREMP — the gateway to the Pyrenees and the mountain biking destination you didn’t know you needed in your life.

Think steep, grippy grey sandstone slabs, endless clay serpentines, breathtaking ridgelines and long, flowing descents. Raw terrain, spectacular views and barely another rider in sight—just you, your bike and trails that seem to go on forever.

Wild, rugged and seriously addictive.

Welcome to mountain biking paradise. Welcome to Tremp! 🚵‍♂️⛰️

What makes Tremp and La Pobla de Segur different?

Pallars Jussà isn’t a polished bike park, and that’s exactly why we love it!

Here, every descent has its own character: fast forest singletrack, loose rocky chutes, exposed ridgelines, steep sandstone slabs, endless clay serpentines and trails carved through landscapes that could belong in a Western.

It feels wild, it feels remote. And no two runs feel the same.

Autumn brings cooler riding days, quieter trails and some of the best conditions of the year. If you are looking for real mountain biking, not laps of the same groomed track, put Tremp and La Pobla de Segur on your list for Autumn 2026.

Ride it with local knowledge. Ride it with Chainguide.
