I finally got around to making a trades post! I’m open to all types of trades - some not listed here, so feel free to ask me! I’m also open to mushrooms foraging or being given foraged mushrooms, tinctures, tea blends, buying me supplies that I need ranging from rings to charms to vending supplies, etc!

I love trading and bartering and want to do it as much as I can - but wait times will be longer if I’m preparing for vending events/markets! I really appreciate your patience! 🖤 by @chainsofdecay

trying to listen to my body and my fellow chainmaille friends when they tell me to take it slow and take it easy after the few months that I’ve had 😮‍💨 my confidence in editing is very low but I’m having fun so I guess that’s all that matters! sometimes I forget the whole point of this is to have FUN…

I get asked a lot “do you open and close all of these rings??” and “do you make all of these by hand?”, and I love getting to say “yes! I do!”.

I’ve convinced myself over time that I’m just stupid. Like genuinely stupid, and have cried over it for years. Chainmaille has been a huge help in building my confidence and self esteem. New weaves are like puzzles and once I’ve figured it out, I feel SO smart 😅 or if I happen to miss a ring somewhere and have to dissect a piece to fix it and end up fixing it?? I feel even smarter.

It’s truly a labor of love and I love enjoying a craft thats been around for centuries. My hands however are screaming for a break 😅🖤 which I’m thoroughly enjoying today.

I survived two events in one weekend but WOW I’m feeling it tonight. Thank you sooo much for coming out tonight! I appreciate every conversation, every compliment, every purchase!

It feels weird that I felt so confident with my packing, unpacking, and set up tonight! By purchasing my chains, it helps me get better and better and buy everything you see on my tables - so thank you! Literally couldn’t do this without you.

Huge thank you to @queenofthecrypt and @prismmedford for this opportunity, huge thank you to all the other vendors that I’m too tired to tag but will when I wake up tomorrow 😅🖤

Another event down 🖤⛓️ might be my favorite one so far. This community is so sick and it always has my heart feeling so full. Had some repeat customers and new ones and made new friends and so many new and happy memories. I’m recovering while preparing for my next event tonight 😅 wish me luck!

I wanna give a huuuuuge thank you to everyone that came out to support my small business at the first @wonderwoodsfaire at @edenvalewinery

I had an incredible weekend vending alongside my incredibly talented friend @chainsofdecay (this was her first big event btw, can you believe it?!) with booth running support from @kintsugikid_tattoo and Owen (thank you sm!!) And tear down help from my lovely friend @sarnandhun I couldn't have survived the heat without you all 🥹

For those of you that made it by the booth, thank you for sharing your whimsy, stories, smiles, and supporting my lil bug biz. It means so much to me. I'm getting ready to lock in for holiday season and as always, can't wait to share in this journey with you all 🦋

My first 2 day market is complete! Now that it’s over, my body feels like it’s deflating as we speak 😅 I need at least 3 days to do next to nothing before I’m back to it. I also need a new pair of pliers because one of my first OG pairs finally broke!

This was such a cool and fun experience, I know what I’ll do differently next time, and no more outdoor markets for me 😵‍💫 the heat really got to me and I worry it affected my ability to chat with all of you that came by! I didn’t even recognize some of you 😵‍💫 day 2 was a lot harder with the heat. So please reach out thru DMs if we talked trades/collabs/custom orders! It was so good to meet you all and see lots of happy and excited faces!

I love chainmaille and feel like it played a huge part in saving me. It makes me so happy to see people happy in my pieces. Your support means everything to me! If you enjoyed this little series, maybe I’ll do another one for my holiday market in November 🙂‍↕️🖤

Day 1 of @wonderwoodsfaire was a huge success in every way. I was nervous and unsure and hoped I’d make at least 1 sale and get to meet as many new friends as possible! I’m so tired and my everything hurts but my bestie surprised me from Portland and so many of my friends came out to support me and it meant everything and made the day so much better. I love chainmaille, I love pushing myself and getting way out of my comfort zone, and I love renaissance faires!! Let’s hope I make it through day 2!! 😅🖤⛓️see you soon!

Episode 4 is a short one - it’s been a CRAZY few days!! Got my booth set up during a heat wave - there was no way I was filming that 😅 I also successfully made my first Linocut which I’ll share tomorrow!! Priced all my chains and just have to get dressed and lay them all out tomorrow morning. Can’t believe the day is finally here! It’s been so fun to share this little journey with yall - thank you for all of the support!! Can’t wait to see some of you there! 🖤
