Wow! What awesome videos we received from all of you! It was so hard to choose a winner!

Or rather: almost impossible. We received not only a lot of videos, but also a huge variety. We got action-packed videos from the course, emotional finishes, and videos of cheering crowds - everything that captures the true soul of our race.

Still, we could only select one winner, and that is Elize de Bruijn’s video. At 11:00 PM, standing among the crowd right after welcoming the last athlete across the line, she captured everyone enjoying our closing fireworks show. We believe this video is a fantastic representation of the sense of togetherness that defines Challenge Almere-Amsterdam. No athletes in frame, just people sharing the exact same passion: triathlon!

Elize wins a free entry for Challenge Almere-Amsterdam 2027 or €500 in cash. We will contact the winner today.

Wauw!

Of eigenlijk: ondoenlijk.

Without officials, there are no races! From October 3 to 11, the Dutch Triathlon Federation is putting all officials in the spotlight - and we are more than happy to join in! Without these stars, there are no fair and safe races! ❤️

An incredible athletic achievement, a proud family, and a wonderful amount raised for childhood cancer research: Manouk Groeneveld was invaluable during Challenge Almere-Amsterdam. Triathlon is so much more than just going from start to finish!

Today is International Volunteer Day! A day that definitely deserves our recognition. Every year, over eight hundred volunteers work tirelessly to turn your Challenge Almere-Amsterdam into an unforgettable event. During the building of the event area, at registration, at aid stations, at the finish line, and at dozens of other places: these volunteers are indispensable and of immense value!

That is why today, we ask you once more - and with extra emphasis: express your gratitude to all these superheroes! ❤️

❤️ by @challengealmere

Wow. Just wow! In the week leading up to Challenge Almere-Amsterdam, Chinouk Tschan biked nearly 1,000 kilometers from Switzerland to Almere. As if it were nothing, she then competed in the Long Distance race, crossing the finish line in a staggering 9:48:30. And as if that weren't enough yet, over the past few days she biked nearly 900 kilometers back home. - a slightly shorter route this time, but with significantly more elevation gain. What an absolute legend!

Wow. Just wow!
