BEHIND THE SCENES AT CHALLENGE THE WILD 🗺️⛰️ You see the adventure. You see the challenge, the camaraderie, the incredible locations and the memories that last a lifetime. But what you don’t always see is everything that goes into making it happen. The hours spent studying maps and planning routes. The reconnaissance visits and on-the-ground checks. The emails, phone calls, meetings, logistics, transport, accommodation, equipment checks, risk assessments, safety planning and staff training. The problem-solving when things don’t go to plan. The attention to detail. The countless little jobs that nobody sees, but that make all the difference. From the first idea to the moment the last participant heads home, there’s a huge amount of work that goes into every Challenge The Wild event. And honestly? We absolutely love it. 👊 Because it’s not just about organising events. It’s about creating experiences that challenge people, build confidence, bring people together and leave them with stories they’ll tell for years to come. Every route has a purpose. Every detail matters. Every member of the team plays their part. The adventure might be what you sign up for, but the preparation is what helps make it unforgettable. This is Challenge The Wild. The work behind the adventure. The passion behind the challenge. The people behind the experience. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. Who’s ready for the next one? 🔥 by @challengethewild
Preparations complete! We will see our November Course Candidates for their SF Selection Experience Monday. We are ready. Are you? 👊🏻 by @challengethewild
2027 IS GOING TO BE SOMETHING SPECIAL. 🇵🇱🇮🇹🇹🇷 Three battlefields. Three incredible stories. One huge reason why we do what we do. As we look ahead to our first three Battlefield Hikes of 2027, we can’t help but feel excited about what’s coming. 🇵🇱 THE GREAT ESCAPE | 21–25 MARCH Walking the ground at Stalag Luft III, where courage, ingenuity and an extraordinary determination for freedom led to one of the most famous escape attempts in history. 🇮🇹 MONTE CASSINO | 16–20 APRIL Taking on the rugged terrain around Cassino and Monte Cassino, where the landscape itself became one of the greatest challenges faced by Allied forces during the Italian Campaign. 🇹🇷 GALLIPOLI | 24–28 APRIL Walking Anzac Cove, Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair, remembering the men who fought in one of the most defining campaigns in the history of Australia, New Zealand, Turkey and the wider Allied effort. But for us, it’s about so much more than the destinations. It’s about getting people out of their comfort zones. It’s about understanding the stories behind the history, standing on the ground where it happened and appreciating the human cost of the conflicts that shaped our world. It’s about the conversations along the trail, the shared challenges, the moments of reflection and the friendships that form along the way. And it’s about remembering. Through our battlefield hikes and our Lamp Lights of Peace remembrance services, we want to create experiences that mean something long after the boots come off. We don’t want people to simply read about history or look at it from a coach window. We want them to walk it, understand it and feel connected to it. That’s why we do this. Three expeditions to kick off 2027. Countless stories to uncover. And an enormous amount of history to honour. We genuinely can’t wait to get started. Challenge The Wild We don’t just visit history. We walk it. 👉🏻 Send a Dm @challengethewild for more info or head over to www.challengethewild.com by @challengethewild

🤝 Great partnerships are built on shared values, trust and a genuine desire to make a difference. Always fantastic to catch up with the team at @theoutdoorguide Foundation and their incredible ambassador @gemma__hunt. Our relationship means a great deal to us at Challenge The Wild. We share a belief that the outdoors should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances. Together, we’re developing an exciting plan to give underprivileged children the opportunity to get outdoors, fully kitted out and ready for adventure. 🌿🥾 This is about so much more than getting outside. It’s about building confidence, improving mental and physical wellbeing, developing resilience, creating friendships and giving young people opportunities they might not otherwise have. At Challenge The Wild, we believe the outdoors can be a powerful catalyst for positive change. By working alongside organisations and people who share that vision, we can turn good intentions into something that genuinely changes lives. 💚 Different organisations. One shared purpose. A future with more opportunities for every child. Here’s to building something special together! #OutdoorGuideFoundation #OutdoorWellbeing #StrongerTogether #MakingADifference by @challengethewild
