The BIL. This gun was built by my brother in law Tadd and me for him. Well, let's be honest here, it was built mostly by me. LOL. I asked if he was going to shoot it. He looked at me blankly and said very mater of fact, "You don't shoot Art" and left for home. Hahahaha!

Love you homie and glad I got to build you a golden hammer gun.

And then there were 8...

In 2019 I started testing our widebody pistols with 12 original @mbxextreme magazines. Since that time these mags have been used to test every single 2019 pistol we have produced. Each mag has been loaded over 1500 times! We've cracked followers, we lost bottom pins but we've never replaced a spring, tube or base plate. We have even left some of the cracked followers so I can prove how long they last. We do however clean them once a year...

Buy once cry once. These mags WORK!

So why only 8 now? Because I occasionally give one away to a Patreon member who asks a particularly good question during our live Q&A. I'll give away one more of these pieces of shop history before the end of the year. Then I'll probably hold on to the rest. Its hard to let a good dog go...

The big boss is keeping his eye on my project today. Always feels like he's watching over me for some reason. Especially today while I designed and made a custom plate for a full custom build. This longslide .45Auto is getting a 507k and no BUIS because, thats what the owner wants! Trust me, it'll be cool.

The Number 3 Guy gun...a few years back my mom conspired with me to buy my dad parts so that he and I could build him a custom .45 1911 together. We started on it. Then she got sick, passed away and we just never got back around to finishing it.

Recently he asked me if I still had his parts here and if I did, could I just blue them so he could have it to shoot since he is getting on in years. I said sure...and you all know I just CAN'T LET STUFF GO! So here we are a few long days later and my dad's .45 1911 is wrapped up and ready to roll.

Of course I did a little more than he asked, whatever dude. I'd like to think my mom is looking down from above and smiling about this one. So here's to you Number3 Guy. I love you.
