Set below ground at Belden House & Mews, the Bathhouse draws on the textures and tones of the earth. Troweled plaster, warm wood, and deep blue tile define a series of spaces designed for bathing, heat, and quiet restoration, bringing a distinct character to the hotel’s more intimate side.

A quiet nod to old Florida, with striped slipcovered headboards, warm wood, and sea glass light. We designed the guestrooms to feel relaxed and residential, balancing the formality of a manor house with the character of coastal Florida.

For Cooper Coffee & Wine, we looked to the easy elegance of a European boulangerie, softened by the relaxed character of Charleston. Warm timber, upholstered seating, and carefully considered details create an inviting backdrop for the café’s daily transition from morning coffee and breakfast to wine in the evening, all overlooking the marina.

We brought a nostalgic, playful spirit to CurrentBurger at The Cooper, taking cues from the traditional diner while keeping the space sophisticated and distinctly Charleston. Patterned terrazzo floors, custom ceramic tile, channeled leather banquettes, and ribbed glass screens come together to create a fresh take on the classic diner.

Our studio was proud to take part in Project First Day, helping New York City children start the school year with the essentials they need to feel prepared and confident.

For families living in the city’s shelter system, the cost of new clothes, shoes, backpacks, and school supplies can be a significant burden. Project First Day provides children with a new outfit, a pair of shoes, a backpack, and grade-specific supplies to support them throughout the school year.

Now in its 20th year, Project First Day continues to bring practical support and a sense of possibility to thousands of NYC students as they head back to school. by @champalimauddesign
