Save the Date! We're beyond thrilled to see one of Canada’s most exciting contemporary circus companies, @machinedecirque, make their Chamäleon debut with one of their most ambitious works, Kintsugi.

Drawing inspiration from the Japanese art of kintsugi, in which broken ceramics are repaired with gold to emphasise how we are made stronger and more beautiful by our damage, the show stretches the boundaries of circus storytelling.

An ensemble of nine brilliant acrobats gathers at a purgatory-like bus stop, all trying to leave something behind but unsure of where to go next. Over the course of a day and a night, they must find a way forward together, unpacking the complexities of their individual histories before collectively meeting a new dawn.

Set in a dreamlike landscape that flits between past and present, a myriad of circus disciplines interact, showcasing both individual brilliance and collective innovation. Haunting, playful, ethereal and ultimately deeply uplifting, this is a show to reinforce your sense of wonder in an oftentimes difficult world.

Wie sieht ein Besuch im Chamäleon Theater aus? Paulina erklärt es euch!

Im Chamäleon finden regelmäßig Vorstellungen mit einer Live-Übersetzung in Deutsche Gebärdensprache statt. Gedolmetscht werden alle Momente der Inszenierung, die Lautsprache verwenden sowie der Einlass und die Begrüßung.

+++ Carnivale Royale mit DGS +++
Am Dienstag, den 28. Juli 2026 zeigen wir Carnivale Royale von der Kompanie House of Circus mit Live-Dolmetschung in DGS.

Das Stück wird in englischer Lautsprache moderiert. Live auf der Bühne steht außerdem Eyk Kauly @ephraim_mebus und übersetzt in deutsche Gebärdensprache. Ihr könnt euch auch auf eine Musikperformance freuen! Der Einlass und die Begrüßung werden ebenfalls gedolmetscht.

Dank der Unterstützung des Schwerhörigen-Vereins Berlins, können Zuschauer*innen mit Hörbeeinträchtigung außerdem mobile Hörschleifen ausleihen.

Carnivale Royale dauert ca. 70 Minuten ohne Pause und beginnt um 20 Uhr. Inhaltshinweis: Die Show enthält Szenen mit komödiantischen Andeutungen auf Nacktheit und sexuelle Anspielungen. Diskriminierungserfahrungen und Beispiele von Queerfeindlichkeit werden angesprochen. Das Chamäleon empfiehlt den Besuch ab 16 Jahren.

Karten könnt Ihr einfach online buchen. Den Link zum Spielplan findet ihr in unserer Bio. Spezielle Plätze mit guter Sicht auf die Bühne sind im Saalplan türkis hinterlegt.
Die Karten kosten regulär 41 Euro und ermäßigt 31 Euro.
Es gibt aber auch ein Soli-Ticket für 10 Euro, auch diesen Link findet ihr in unserer Bio.
