march madness!!! (even though it’s already may)

lately, i’ve been feeling extra grateful for the life i get to live, for dance, and for all of the people that keep me sane—despite all of the chaos in the world. hoping to share more of what im grateful for the rest of the year (consistently 😅)

MAHALO AND THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!

Thanks to every one of you, we raised $2,080 for Hawaiʻi Kona Storm Relief! The love and support over these past few weeks has been truly overwhelming — I’m so grateful to be able to give back to families at home while doing what I love. Also, a very special thanks to those who went above and beyond the class cost and to those who donated even if they couldn’t make it 🫶🏽

Since most donors didn’t specify an organization, I did my best to direct funds toward groups doing active, on-the-ground work with the communities most affected. And because my company matches donations for select initiatives, our contribution to the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation was doubled!

Please continue to send your love, aloha, and prayers to the families enduring these storms — especially as another one moves through this week. by @chance.mr

Hello all! I’m really excited to announce that I’ll be hosting a pop-up class on Monday 3/30 from 9:15–11:15 PM at ECDC.

The recent flash floods caused by the Kona storms have left many areas of Hawai‘i severely damaged—places I’ve grown up with and that make home HOME. The community back home has already been making great strides to restore these areas, but there is still a lot more work to be done (and there will be for a while).

With that in mind, I wanted to host this pop-up class as a way to support my community back home while doing what I love (dance) with my Seattle community.

For directions on how to donate/register for a spot, please review the second slide. The Linktree to organizations and people accepting donations is in my bio. Spots are limited, so please register ASAP! Your spot will be confirmed with a follow-up reply/confirmation message.

Mahalo to all! If you have any questions, please DM me :) by @chance.mr
