I got to propose to Madison Hogan and it was the best day of my life.

These last two weeks have been a joy getting to celebrate and take in our engagement. Thanks to all who helped make all of this possible and for all the good wishes!

I’ve officially been out of college for a year and nobody really prepares you for the grief that comes with the loss of your youth. With the help of Madison, therapy, my parents and my closest friends I’ve just been trying to appreciate the moments I’m in no matter what they are. These have been some of my favorites so far from this year— in no particular order.

slide 1: This week in the outer banks with my pretty lady.
slide 2: Worked for @day22films as drone operator, assistant editor, and 1st ac from January to April.

slide 4: In April started going on tour and filming content for the Farm Chores King @matt_mathews
slide 5: #newprofilepic and filming some content for @bhamfilmwalk
slide 6: Semi-formal with Madison. I danced hard and good.
slide 7: @forrestsonfire and @katiejeter had a baby and I cried.
slide 8: I just thought this one needed to be in.

I don’t update social media a lot, I guess because it stresses me out. But I’m alive and well and I think about my friends, old and new, often. I hope you’re doing alright too. by @chandlerjroper

2021 was a year. Just a year, really. I experienced loss, pain, stress, but also triumphs, accomplishments, and pure bliss in certain moments. I hiked in Colorado, edited 50 something videos, posted to Instagram like twice, met a girl who feels like home, got a cat (Arthur), and learned to love myself a little bit more than the year before.

This past year has sucked for most (really the past two tbfr), but I hope you can find solace in the fact that it can get better. Or maybe it won’t. Either way, life is beautiful because of the people we love who choose to struggle with us. Hold those people close this year. And let’s just strive to be here another year. by @chandlerjroper
