First Rebel Raani event in the books and my heart is so full ❤️‍🔥 Our Bollywood HIIT class at Burn Room Studio was everything I dreamed of and more.

Thank you Joe from the Burn Room, to Nishi for leading such an amazing event and believing in my wild ideas, my parents, and my sister for always believing in my vision and supporting me every step of the way. I’m so grateful to everyone who showed up, worked out, sweated, and brought the most incredible energy to the room 💃🏽✨

Together we also raised over $450 to support the South Asian Women’s Centre, a cause that is deeply personal to me as someone who has gone through an abusive relationship. I am so blessed to have such incredible family and friends who contributed to this and believed in everything I strive for without any hesitation. I’m incredibly proud that we were able to contribute to an organization that helps women in debilitating and abusive environments find independence and gives them the tools to heal, rebuild, and succeed 🤍

2024 was a tough year, no words.

I left a marriage that no longer fulfilled me, nor did it keep me safe, happy, loved or valued. It was a lot to navigate, to heal, find myself again and go back to who I was before I was married. I had to start all over again.

My parents, sister, and my closest family and chosen family worked overtime to help pick up the pieces, hear my cry and scream, sit with me in silence and bring me back to my happy place. And I will never know how to ever thank them for it.

I celebrated New Years with my cousins and me, my sister and my cousin sat under the table and ate our 12 grapes. I didn’t know what would become of it, was it just another tiktok trend? I made my wish, and earlier in October I had wrote down all the qualities I would want in a future partner, I still have it saved in my notebook.

Fast forward to March 2025, I liked a boys prompt on hinge all the way in Leicester, he likes: Coffee, sneakers 👟 and good music 🎵

One prompt like brought me here, gave me someone who makes me laugh till my cheeks hurt, cheers for me when I tell them I tried a new matcha place, indulges in my whim for sweet treats, has helped heal wounds he never caused, looks at me like i’m a treasure chest at the end of a rainbow and is now become one of my best friends ♥️

All in all, I guess those grapes worked 😉
