POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🎙️ Episode 2 of @legendinthegamepodcast tribute to Jojo Robinson drops tomorrow and it’s personal.

This week on Legend in the Game on Media City Radio, we pause to honor the life, legacy, and light of my brother, my mentor, and a true Paterson legend @xphoto2006

He wasn’t just one of the greatest photographers to ever do it JoJo was a father, husband, minister, and a man of deep faith and purpose. He was also my birthday twin and one of the first people who welcomed me with open arms when I moved to Paterson at 21.

We had plans to sit down together on the mic. And while that episode never happened the way we hoped, this tribute is my way of giving him his flowers and celebrating the countless ways he impacted my life and so many others.

🎧 Episode drops Wednesday on Media City Radio
Let’s celebrate a real one.

Happy Birthday in Heaven, my brother @xphoto2006

Even though you’re no longer with us in the physical, I’m eternally grateful for everything you did for me the love you showed, the laughter we shared, and the way you always believed in me. I’m thankful I was able to give you your flowers multiple times and thank you for helping me become the photographer I am today. You would always say, “You the GOAT,” and I’d say, “That’s because I learned from one.” We were able to put this podcast together to honor you the way you deserve. Here’s a snippet of the podcast full episode dropping next month. We love and miss you dearly, my birthday twin. Until we meet again, hug my grandparents, Lenny, Cory, and all my loved ones who are with you. Love you, my brother.
Happy Birthday, until we meet again. 🕊️❤️🙏 taken in The Media City Studio by @chanelfieldsinc
