today would have been this beauties 60th birthday. i wish we were celebrating back in Italy like we had always planned to do. instead im sitting here writing a message to you that you’ll never see. life is such a razor thin edge between joy and pain sometimes it feels unbearable. mom, i honor you today and everyday as i move through this life with out you here. sometimes i feel you are lost to me and i have no idea where you are, but then my daughter will make me belly laugh or the rain falls in the way you used to love and it’s as if i feel you right there with me whispering “yes, isn’t this beautiful!? i am still here. i am not missing out” . those are the moments i cling to. i hope they never fade. happiest heavenly birthday to my guardian angel. i love you forever 🤍 by @chaneljohansson

Creatively speaking, there is nothing better than writing songs with your bff…it just hits different! So when @josiahbell called to tell me a song we wrote together was going to be apart of this album I was so excited. Jo, I’ll always cherish that season of our lives in Woodland Hills when the whole world ( and your personal one ) was seemingly crashing all around us. I watched you show up for yourself and your son day in and day out with a full & OPEN heart despite heartbreak. But honestly that’s just you! Always moving through life with that big, goofy heart of yours. I’m just so proud of you. Capricorn, the definition of private, but you let us in. Your soul is pouring through these songs. We needed this! I know for a fact mama Sharon is smiling down and screaming FINALLY😂🤍 Hallelujah🙌🏽
