Rest well, my angel 😔🕊️💔
Thank you for 14 of the best years.

Our world became a little less bright as we laid our 14-year-old German Shepherd, Xylo, to rest this past Sunday, on Spring Day, September 1, 2024.

Xylo has been a fundamental part of our lives, showering us with unconditional love, affection, understanding, cuddles, and unforgettable memories. He made his mark in our world and left an impact that nothing can measure up to. His soft nudges of love, little runs of excitement, and just him being unapologetically him are sights and feelings we have been searching for since we lost him.

We knew you were ready for your next chapter when you no longer pressed your forehead into our hands for snuggles and pets 😞 Your purpose had been fulfilled.

Xylo spent his last day on Earth enjoying the fresh Spring breeze, the sound of birds chirping, reminiscing memories shared of life with him, and lying on the grass in the sunshine, surrounded by his fur brothers and close family.

No words can ever explain how much you meant to us.

Thank you for enriching a part of our lives for 14 years of yours. We hope you soar with the angels in a perfectly restored body, doing everything you love, and living out your wildest dreams and beyond.

Run with the angels, my baby, until we meet again 😭

We love and miss you so much.

Today marks 3 months since we said goodbye to my dearest Puffy, who blessed our world with 16+ years of love and loyalty. The soul dog a girl got in her twenties. I never imagined a life without my soul pup. That constant, unconditional presence no longer here in physical form 💔

Being a fur mom is a feeling you can’t quite put into words, they’re your children, always choosing you, no matter what. Losing him shook me, even though I knew the day would come. Nothing prepares you for it, the anticipatory grief and the actual grief, that hits you out of nowhere.

He was the puffiest, bravest boy, tail high, purple tongue out, and a heart that stayed for me right until the end. When his spirit was stronger than his body, I had to be brave for him 😔

Puffy, thank you for your unwavering love, your quiet presence, your sweetness and snuggles, your love treats, your patience, your everything. Thank you for choosing me. The goodest, bestest boy forever.

Now you run free across the rainbow bridge, reunited with your siblings, including your baby brother Xylo, your Mom and your bigger siblings you grew up!

Tizer carries pieces of both of you, in play, in sass, in spirit. Some days I feel you here. Other days, I relive your final peaceful moments, where you slipped on your teddy into a deep sleep.

Your essence lives in my memory, your spirit in my heart, forever. And I will love you until the end of time.

This will be the first birthday, Christmas and new year without you, 🫩💞

Rest easy, my boy. Until we meet again. Thank you ♥️
