Published! We are overjoyed to share the news of our recent feature with @destinationido. Jordynn and Will are one of the most incredible couples I have had the honor of working with, and this moment holds such deep meaning. Creating images they can hold onto for a lifetime truly melts my heart.

Just weeks before their wedding, their dream photographer cancelled. Though they found another, they never felt fully seen. This editorial became their moment of redemption and a chance to celebrate their love in a way that felt true to them.

And while thoughtful direction can refine your posture, movement, and presence in front of the camera, confidence begins within.

When you feel sure of yourself, comfortable in your choices, and beautiful from head to toe, there is an ease that comes through in the photographs. It allows us to create from a place of trust rather than hesitation.

Here are five ways to feel more confident on your wedding day.

1. Decide how you want to feel

Before thinking about the photographs, think about the feeling. Calm. Elegant. Joyful. Present. Let that guide the choices you make leading up to the day.

2. Choose attire that makes you feel extraordinary

Your gown, tailoring, shoes, accessories, and beauty look all influence the way you carry yourself. Choose the pieces that make you feel like the most elevated version of yourself.

3. Become aware of your posture and movement

You do not need to memorize poses. Simply becoming more aware of how you naturally stand, walk, sit, and move can help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera.
