I can spend a lot of time and energy on the product, image, video, whatever maybe when I should be focusing on where the product lives.

If it’s coming from you, the quality will always be there. But how it’s presented probably matters more.

@change_makers said If you open a restaurant and only focus on the food, but not the space, the branding, or the identity behind it, people aren’t going to stay.

Same goes for the artist. The photographer. Any creative who makes something great and doesn’t put time into where it lives.

Food for thought if you’re thinking about growth, scaling, or getting people to invest in what you’ve got going on.

You can find something on the street and call it trash. Put that same thing in an art gallery and it’s called art.

And someone will probably buy it. by @change_makers

Big thank you to @imaniimani + the CultureCon team for giving me the opportunity to bring @vintagedesignmrkt into the space and educate a few people on vintage, interiors, design, and the stories behind the objects we live with.

What we’re building with Vintage Design Market has always been bigger than just buying and selling things — it’s about taste, discovery, design education, community, and giving great objects another life.

Join us for a weekend of thoughtfully curated vintage furniture, art, fashion, housewares, books, vinyl, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind finds from some of the region’s best dealers. We’ll be taking over the downstairs gallery and courtyard for an indoor/outdoor shopping experience inside the historic Old Horse Stable at Crane Arts.
