Fatboy Slim – Everybody Needs a 303 | TD-3 Octave Trick

Recreating Fatboy Slim – “Everybody Needs a 303” on the Behringer TD-3.
This pattern has a small problem: some notes need to go two octaves higher, but the TD-3 only allows a one-octave shift per step.
The workaround is simple: program the whole sequence one octave lower, then transpose the complete pattern up one octave during playback.
Watch the related full video for the complete pattern, accents, slides and sound settings.

Building a techno groove around the Behringer EDGE 🎛️

Starting with a simple EDGE sequence, then adding drums and shaping the synth in real time to turn it into a complete groove.

@behringer
The EDGE works especially well when the sequence stays simple and the movement comes from decay, filter, pitch and modulation.

Would you use the EDGE as the main synth in a techno track?
