So super happy to announce that I have been accepted and will be pursuing my DMA in saxophone with Dr. Paul Cohen at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in the Fall! There’s so many opportunities that I am immensely grateful and excited for, and it’s surreal that it’s happening! Thank you to my friends and family who keep me together and my former teachers who have been invaluable to me. Here’s to life in the Big Apple! taken in Manhattan, New York by @channingshows

I promised I’d upload a little more, so here’s the first promise that. Here’s a little bit of @dralantheisen heavy hitting Bari concerto “Archaic Machines”. I’ve only had a few days with it, but it’s such a cool piece and it’s been awesome to dive into! Feels like just yesterday I heard @dannelophone play the mess out of it! 😎🎷

I’ve been meaning to post for quite a while now haha. So summer, craaazy busy. First I graduated with my masters, then one week I was in Germany playing saxophone alongside the @rascherquartetofficial and then the next week I was playing even more with @themanaquartet official MSI, and then before I knew it was home for a few weeks, and now I’m back in San Jose and more motivated than before. I’ve gotten on new medication, I’m going to the gym 6-7 days a week for the past few weeks, I’m more hydrated than ever and it’s been all about bettering myself and stabilizing what my life gonna look like.
I’ll post some updated pictures about all that stuff later, but it’s been a crazy time and with my new medication I’ve never been so driven to go do things that I honestly should be. It’s an exciting and scary time and I can’t wait to share that. I’m for real going to start posting more saxophone stuff so look out for that and if you don’t see it, please yell at me because I need to haha. by @channingshows

"Їхав козак за Дунай" (eng. "A Cossack was going across the Danube") is an original Ukrainian folk song which was reworked and variated by Ludwig van Beethoven in op.107 for violin and piano.
Here you can take a look on amazing arrangement from the great @andreasvanzoelen for saxophone Quartet, for which I'm personally much more than appreciated.
Soprano saxophone - Christine Rall
Alto saxophone - Artem Yurok
Tenor saxophone - Patricia Reuter @patricia_reut

It feels just about as long as it took to originally drive here, but a couple of weeks ago, I graduated with my masters at SJSU. It’s been a crazy ride but I’m overjoyed and grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had. I cannot thank all of my faculty and friends I’ve met along the way for their support and I look forward to what my next chapter looks like! taken in San Jose State University by @channingshows

I’m so excited to announce my final master’s recital will be happening May 17th at 1pm PST at the SJSU concert hall. There should be a livestream link for those who can’t make it, but I hope to see you there!
